On the morning of December 8, the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with the Dak Lak Provincial Continuing Education Center to organize the opening ceremony of the Ede ethnic language training class for officers and professional soldiers in 2025.

Attending the opening ceremony were representatives of the provincial Center for Continuing Education, comrades in the Command Board, leaders of departments and offices and all students of the Provincial Border Guard Command .

Colonel Ro Lan Ngan, Deputy Political Commissar of Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command, delivered the opening speech of the training course.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the training course, Colonel Ro Lan Ngan, Deputy Political Commissar of the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command, emphasized that training in ethnic minority languages ​​is of special importance, aiming to help officers and soldiers grasp the Party's guidelines, viewpoints, and policies, the State's laws on ethnic affairs; improve the ability to use the Ede language in the process of communicating with people in border areas, better serve the work of propaganda, mass mobilization and implementation of professional tasks in the area, contributing to firmly protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security.

The Deputy Political Commissar requested the Organizing Committee of the class to properly implement the content and program, ensure quality, effectiveness, maintain a serious and safe class. For teachers, focus on imparting and training students to master the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing; for students, focus on monitoring, actively participating in learning, investing in research and training to achieve good results, strictly comply with discipline, laws, classroom regulations and ensure safety.

Ms. Tran Thi Thu Hien, Deputy Director of Dak Lak Province Center for Continuing Education, spoke at the opening ceremony of the training course.

Ms. Tran Thi Thu Hien, Deputy Director of the Dak Lak Province Continuing Education Center, said that language is a cultural bridge, an important means of communication and building relationships between ethnic groups. The Ede people not only have unique cultural features but also possess their own language, which is the Ede language. Organizing this class is an activity within the National Target Program to improve the capacity of cadres in the process of implementing economic and social development tasks in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

The class is organized in the form of direct learning on Saturdays and Sundays and online learning on weekday evenings; the content and lectures include 450 periods, the study time is about 3 months. This is a flexible learning method, suitable for the characteristics and tasks of the military unit, both acquiring knowledge and completing the task of firmly protecting the sovereignty and security of the national border.
