Not only is this a ceremony to honor outstanding works, it is also a gathering place for humanity, inspiring stories about life's strength and kindness in everyday life.

This year's award attracted hundreds of entries from across the country, reflecting diverse perspectives on HIV/AIDS such as the efforts of the grassroots health system, the journey of people living with HIV to overcome stigma, the role of community groups, or effective treatment connection models.

Behind every article, every clip, every photo series is the dedication of the journalist and the brave people who share their life stories. All contribute to creating a humane picture of the journey of leaving no one behind.

An artistic space that guides emotions

Besides the emotional stories, the awards ceremony also attracted special attention with impressive artistic performances.

This year, the Awards Ceremony's art program was staged in the spirit of "spreading hope" - where music acts as a soft connection between the honored stories.

The opening performance “Hello New Day” performed by Thu Thuy – Ho Trung Dung and the dance troupe of the Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theatre will bring a source of pure energy, like the beginning of a new journey. Bright music, fresh melodies convey the message: Every day is an opportunity to live better, to love more, in line with the spirit of HIV/AIDS prevention and control.

Then, Ho Trung Dung's emotional voice with the song "Come Back, My Love" evokes very real movements in the heart: the return, the healing and the belief that behind the loss there are always waiting arms.

The atmosphere was lifted by “My Road” performed by Thu Thuy – a strong affirmation that everyone has the right to continue on their own journey, overcoming prejudices to find their own value.

The song “Together in Harmony with the Heart” performed by a male-female duet continues to bring the audience back to the spirit of solidarity, which has kept the work of preventing and fighting HIV/AIDS steadfast for more than three decades.

Closing the art space is “Kind Vietnam”. From the melody to the lyrics, the song is like a tribute to the silent people – the team of doctors, medical experts, community groups, volunteers and even journalists. They have sown kindness to turn hope into reality.

During the awards night, the audience will have the opportunity to meet the authors and characters who have made their mark on this year’s awards. They are journalists who have ventured into remote areas to record the stories of people living with HIV; medical staff who have persevered in staying at the grassroots level; and community role models who inspire with their own will to live.

Each named work not only represents the creative achievements of the writer but also serves as a bridge to bring silent efforts closer to the public.

The upcoming award ceremony is also an opportunity to honor individuals and groups that have contributed to the arduous but humane journey of HIV/AIDS prevention and control over the past three decades.

In addition to the emotional stories, the award ceremony also attracted special attention thanks to its rich and valuable award system. The three main award groups include written works, photographic works and television - multimedia works, with a total of 12 awards given: 3 First Prizes, 3 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes and 3 Encouragement Prizes.

In addition, 5 “Red Ribbon” awards are also reserved to honor works with strong humanitarian spirit, spreading sharing and determination to push back HIV/AIDS in the community.

The 2025 National Press Awards on HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control is not only a night to honor journalistic works, but also a place where beautiful stories and positive changes in the community are spread more strongly.

Health & Life Newspaper respectfully invites readers to follow and accompany the program to look back on a journey full of efforts and to gain strength for the journey ahead, the journey towards the goal of ending the AIDS epidemic in Vietnam.
