On the evening of February 9th (the 30th day of the 12th lunar month), at the Provincial Cultural and Cinema Center Square, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a special art program to celebrate the Party and the Lunar New Year of the Dragon 2024. Attending the program were the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang; the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung; the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam; leaders of various departments and agencies; and a large number of people from all walks of life.

With the theme "Aspiration of Quang Tri ," the program included spectacular and elaborately staged performances such as: Medley of Party and Spring; Singing and dancing: Aspiration of Quang Tri; Folk song suite - Zither solo: Rhythm of Spring; Mashup Quang Tri Today & Offering the Red Flame; Folk song dramatization: Catching the Tiger at Thuy Ba; Hien River on the Day You Came; Tet Must Be Joyful; Listening to Spring Coming... with the participation of singers and actors from the Quang Tri Provincial Traditional Arts Troupe and some singers who are children of Quang Tri natives working in the arts nationwide...

Held on New Year's Eve, the special art program celebrating the Party and the Spring Festival of the Year of the Dragon 2024 left a deep impression and evoked strong emotions in the audience as they welcomed a new spring.

The program concluded with a spectacular fireworks display over Dong Ha City at the exact moment of transition between the old year of Quy Mao 2023 and the new year of Giap Thin 2024, as a wish for good fortune, health, and prosperity to everyone; bringing much faith and hope for the homeland and the country to continue moving forward.
