Proposal to award 250 million VND to students who won gold medals at international Olympics

The draft Resolution of the City People's Council sets out the reward levels for students and trainees who win prizes in international Olympic competitions in subjects, international scientific and technical research competitions and equivalents sent by the Ministryof Education and Training to participate as follows:

Gold Medal 250 million VND; Silver Medal 200 million VND; Bronze Medal 150 million VND; Encouragement Prize, Special Prize and other prizes with a prize structure of 100 million VND;

Students and trainees who win prizes in regional Olympic competitions in subjects, regional scientific and technical research competitions and equivalents sent by the Ministry of Education and Training to participate, the proposed reward levels are as follows:

Gold Medal 150 million VND; Silver Medal 120 million VND; Bronze Medal 90 million VND; Encouragement Prize, Special Prize and other prizes with a prize structure of 50 million VND.

Students and trainees who won prizes in national excellent student competitions organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, the prizes are respectively: First prize 50 million VND; Second prize 40 million VND; Third prize 30 million VND; Encouragement prize, thematic prize and prizes according to the prize structure: 20 million VND.

The draft resolution also proposes a reward for students who win prizes in the final round of the Road to Olympia contest organized by Vietnam Television, ranging from 20 million to 50 million VND.

The bonus for teachers who directly train and nurture students and trainees who win prizes is equal to 70% of the bonus for students and trainees.

The collective of teachers participating in training and fostering students and trainees will receive 30% of the bonus of the teachers directly training and fostering students and trainees who won prizes...
