The delegation from Tuyen Quang province visited the Vi Xuyen National Martyrs' Cemetery.
The delegation included: Ms. Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; and leaders of several provincial departments and agencies.
Comrade Ha Thi Nga, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, offered incense at the Monument to the Heroes and Martyrs at the Vi Xuyen National Martyrs Cemetery.
Attending the incense offering ceremony, on behalf of Ha Giang province were: Mr. Thao Hong Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of Ha Giang; and Ms. Ly Thi Lan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ha Giang province.

At the Vi Xuyen National Martyrs' Cemetery (Vi Xuyen town, Vi Xuyen district), Provincial Party Secretary Ha Thi Nga and the delegation, along with other leaders of Ha Giang province, respectfully laid wreaths before the monument commemorating the heroic martyrs and offered incense to remember the immense contributions of the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the war to protect the Fatherland.
Comrade Le Thi Kim Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, offered incense at the graves of the heroic martyrs.
This is the resting place of over 1,800 martyrs, including a mass grave of martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the fight to defend the northern border of the Fatherland from 1979 to 1989. In this battle, the heroic martyrs steadfastly defended every inch of sacred land of the Fatherland with the unwavering resolve of "Not an inch will be given up, not a millimeter will be moved," determined to hold firm to every hilltop, cliff, and high point with the courageous spirit of "Living clinging to the rocks to fight the enemy, dying becoming immortal rocks."
Comrade Nguyen Van Son, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, offered incense at the graves of the heroic martyrs.
In a solemn atmosphere, delegates expressed their profound respect for the immense contributions and noble sacrifices of the heroic martyrs. They also demonstrated their determination to unite, overcome all difficulties and challenges, and strive to successfully fulfill the tasks of socio-economic development, ensure national defense and security, and build a prosperous and beautiful homeland, worthy of the noble sacrifices of the heroic martyrs.

The delegation visited and offered flowers and incense to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at the Memorial Temple of Heroes and Martyrs of the Vi Xuyen Front, located on Hill 468 in Nam Ngat village, Thanh Thuy commune, Vi Xuyen district. This is the resting place of more than 4,000 officers and soldiers from many parts of the country who perished in Vi Xuyen.

Before the spirits of the heroes and martyrs, the delegates expressed the determination of the Party Committee, government, military, and people of all ethnic groups in Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang provinces to uphold the tradition of unity and build their homeland into an increasingly prosperous, beautiful, and civilized place.
