The National Assembly delegation of the province visited and presented gifts to the Nursing Center for Meritorious People

Towards the 77th Anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 * July 27, 2024), on July 24, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation led by Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation visited and presented gifts at the Provincial Nursing Center for Meritorious People.

Attending were comrade Vu Tuan Anh - Standing Member of the National Assembly 's Finance and Budget Committee.

The Provincial Center for Nursing for Meritorious People is a unit with many achievements in nursing, caring for, and rehabilitating wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and meritorious people in the area. Currently, the center is directly caring for, treating, and nurturing 28 wounded and sick soldiers with a disability rate of 81% or more, whose hometowns are in Hanoi and the provinces of Vinh Phuc, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Hoa Binh , and Phu Tho. Every year, the center is also responsible for taking turns nursing 2,000 people with meritorious services to the revolution in the province.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nam visited the health of wounded soldiers being treated and cared for at the Center.

Visiting and presenting gifts at the Center, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nam and the delegates sent their best wishes to the wounded and sick soldiers; at the same time, expressed their deep gratitude for their great contributions and sacrifices and wished that the wounded and sick soldiers would continue to uphold the tradition, maintain the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", live happily and healthily, be a shining example for the younger generation to learn from, follow, and actively contribute to the development of their homeland and country.

He also shared the difficulties with the staff and asked the staff of the Provincial Nursing Center for Meritorious People to always be a warm and loving home for the wounded and sick soldiers.

On this occasion, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation presented 28 gifts worth a total of 14 million VND to wounded and sick soldiers being treated and cared for here.
