On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2023) and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2023), on the afternoon of August 24, Comrade Doan Minh Huan, Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited and presented gifts to veteran revolutionary cadres and pre-revolution cadres in Gia Vien district.
Accompanying them were representatives from the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and the leadership of Gia Viễn district.
The Provincial Party Secretary and the delegation visited: Mr. Dinh Ba Tai, born in 1930, a pre-revolution cadre, residing in Thong Nhat Street, Me Town; Mr. Nguyen Van Quan, born in 1922, a pre-revolution cadre, residing in Hamlet 10, Gia Sinh Commune; and Mrs. Duong Thi Tu, born in 1926, a veteran revolutionary cadre, residing in Hamlet 6, Gia Sinh Commune.
During visits to the families, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Provincial Party Secretary cordially inquired about their well-being, offered encouragement, and expressed profound gratitude to the veteran revolutionary cadres and pre-revolution cadres who had made significant contributions to the cause of national liberation.
He emphasized that the Party and the State in general, and Ninh Binh province in particular, always pay attention to and provide the best for those who have contributed to the revolution.
The Provincial Party Secretary expressed his wish that the families would continue to uphold the revolutionary tradition, encourage their children and grandchildren to work and study, and contribute to building a more prosperous, beautiful, and civilized Ninh Binh province.
On this occasion, the Provincial Party Secretary respectfully presented gifts and wished the veteran revolutionary cadres and pre-revolution cadres good health, happiness, and continued to be shining examples for their descendants to learn from and emulate.
The Provincial Party Secretary also requested that the Party Committee and the government of Gia Viễn district regularly pay attention to and take good care of the policies and regulations for families of those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution in the area, ensuring that these families have a prosperous, fulfilling, and happy life.
