Bringing clean water to remote schools

(DN) - In order to ensure clean water for students and teachers in remote areas at the beginning of the new school year 2025-2026, on September 8, Binh Phuoc Water Supply and Drainage Joint Stock Company, Dong Nai province implemented the social security program "Bringing clean water to schools" at 4 schools in 3 remote, rural communes - where clean water that meets the standards of the Ministry of Health has not been used.

Accordingly, Binh Phuoc Water Supply and Drainage Joint Stock Company has installed water meters free of charge and provided free water usage for one school year to the following schools: Tan Phuoc Primary and Secondary School (Dong Tam commune), Tan Hung Primary and Secondary School, Tan Hung Kindergarten (both in Tan Loi commune), and Le Van Tam Primary School (Binh Tan commune). The total cost of the program is nearly 78 million VND.

This is a social welfare activity at the school to ensure that every student has access to clean water, guaranteeing their health and contributing to the Government 's National Action Program for Children 2021-2030. At the same time, it aims to achieve a rate of 85% of rural residents having access to clean water meeting standards by 2030.
