In recent days, some artists have traveled to the flooded areas to deliver essential supplies, while others have joined charity groups to donate money to help people recover from the aftermath of Typhoon Yagi . Despite their differing schedules, the artists' main goal is to share the burden with the flood victims and help them return to normal life as soon as possible.

At the meeting between the Government Standing Committee and localities affected by Typhoon No. 3 on September 15th, statistics showed that more than 350 people died or went missing, and more than 2,000 were injured. Material and infrastructure damage was extremely severe. The Ministry of Planning and Investment estimated preliminary property damage caused by Typhoon No. 3 at approximately 40,000 billion VND.

At the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh broke down in tears when mentioning the devastation, severe consequences, and losses suffered by the people and the country. At the same time, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized the immediate requirement that no one should be left without food, clothing, shelter, clean water, or basic daily necessities.

In recent days, responding to the call for solidarity in helping people deal with the aftermath of the floods, many artists have gone to the flood-affected areas. Providing relief and sharing the difficulties with our compatriots in the North - those severely affected by Typhoon Yagi.

Among the celebrities who joined the call to support flood victims, Miss Do Thi Ha is one of the leading beauty queens in sharing information and urging people to stay safe during natural disasters. After hearing about the call for support to help people overcome the damage, Do Thi Ha donated 200 million VND and then joined forces with the newspaper's leadership. Tien Phong to provide relief to people in need in the northern region.

Miss Vietnam Do Thi Ha traveled to Nu village, Phuc Khanh commune, Bao Yen district, Lao Cai province – a place that has suffered many tragic losses of life and property – to carry out relief work. She and her charity team spent 7 hours traveling by car from Hanoi and another 2 hours from Lao Cai city to reach the villagers' homes. The landslides made travel difficult.

Upon arrival, Miss Vietnam 2020 shared her sorrow at seeing that Nu village was now just a muddy wasteland. Along the edges of the swamps, there were occasionally a few cakes and incense sticks lit in the hope of finding those still buried beneath the debris.

The beauty queen, born in 2001, along with the Tien Phong newspaper's charity group, went to the landslide site and donated money to the families of those who died in the flood, 5 million VND per household. The relief team distributed 50 packages to residents of Nu village and the remaining 50 packages to people in other areas of Lao Cai, totaling 500 million VND.

Miss Thuy Tien and Do Thi Ha went directly to the flood-stricken areas to deliver relief packages to the people and soldiers.

In addition to distributing relief funds, the volunteer group and Miss Do Thi Ha visited and encouraged the people severely affected by the flash floods. "Everyone was distraught, saddened, and haunted by what had happened. I was moved by their stories. Some couldn't hide their grief and burst into tears when I asked them about it. I was also choked up and deeply moved," Do Thi Ha shared.

Do Thi Ha further shared that the devastating natural disaster has left people with nothing. The beauty queen added that she hopes for support and assistance from authorities, people nationwide, and the people of Nu village so they can soon stabilize their lives.

"We hope that people across the country will continue to focus their attention on Lao Cai so that the people can overcome the consequences of the storms and floods, stabilize their lives and work, and children can return to school, and a new future can begin," Do Thi Ha further shared.

In addition, Do Thi Ha and her volunteer group expressed their gratitude and offered gifts to support the military and those who assisted the people during these difficult days. She shared that she felt relieved that the floodwaters had receded and people's lives were gradually recovering. While traveling to various locations to distribute gifts and provide assistance, Miss Do Thi Ha continuously updated herself on the damage caused by the flash floods in Thach Thanh district, Thanh Hoa province.

On September 13th, Miss Thuy Tien and her "African team" went to provide assistance to people affected by the storm. Typhoon No. 3 Yagi caused in Lao Cai and Yen Bai provinces.

With the message of mutual support and solidarity, the charity group, along with local officials, delivered gifts directly to the people. The total amount of money that Thuy Tien and the charity group donated to the two provinces was 600 million VND.

At the same time, Thuy Tien visited the Lao Cai Provincial General Hospital, where victims rescued after the storm and floods were being treated. The group decided to provide financial assistance to 15 children in particularly difficult circumstances, facing the pain of losing loved ones.

Miss Thuy Tien's delegation also arrived at the village's cultural center. The delegation visited Bản Tát, Yên Bái, to provide assistance. This is a temporary shelter for many families who have lost their homes. The delegation distributed 10 million VND per household to 11 families whose houses were completely destroyed.

On September 14th, the charity group continued to provide assistance to 37 families in Yen Bai, giving 10 million VND per person whose houses were completely destroyed, mainly in villages such as Lang Thip, Lam Giang, An Binh, Dong Cuong, Ngoi A, Chau Que Ha, and Ban Tat.

Along with many citizens showing solidarity with their compatriots in the North, many artists personally traveled to the northern provinces to directly participate in relief efforts.

In the flood-stricken area of ​​Thai Nguyen, the actor Kieu Anh and their relatives went to heavily flooded areas, distributing essential supplies such as instant noodles, milk, and bottled water (packaged in individual portions) to the residents.

Appearing in the flooded area at the most critical moment, Kieu Anh said she couldn't sleep due to worry. With the water rising so high, reaching the second floor of the single-story house, Kieu Anh's charity group had to travel by boat to deliver supplies to each resident.

Besides Thai Nguyen, Kieu Anh traveled to the flood-stricken area of ​​Tuyen Quang to provide relief to the people affected by the floods. Images of the actress working tirelessly in the flooded region received much praise from the online community.

Actor Anh Vu was also present in the deeply flooded area. When he arrived in Tuyen Quang to provide relief, the city was submerged in water, and the electricity was completely cut off. The actor's charity group had to use a drone to deliver life jackets to people in the flooded areas.

"Even though we're in the center, the phone signal is poor, making it difficult to contact people affected by the disaster," actor Anh Vu said from the flooded area.

According to the actor from "Go Home, My Son," he decided to join his group of friends on a relief mission because he was moved by the messages of appeal for help from people in Tuyen Quang and Yen Bai.

"Initially, we had no plan, we didn't think too far ahead, we just wanted to do whatever we could. I went there to update the situation so that everyone could report it, and other relief teams could come and provide effective assistance," actor Hoang Anh Vu further shared.

In recent days, Bang Kieu has also been busy participating in relief efforts for people in the flooded areas. The male singer said he immediately traveled to Yen Bai after hearing that the locality needed boats and life jackets for rescue.

Arriving in Yen Bai after finishing filming the show "Brother Overcomes a Thousand Obstacles," he said he felt "heartbroken" to see people trapped in heavily flooded areas while floodwaters rose high.

"Many elderly people, children, and pregnant women live in single-story houses, and when the water rose, they didn't have time to move and had nowhere to take shelter. The rain has stopped, so flood relief efforts are less difficult now," Bang Kieu shared.
