On May 13th, Comrade Nguyen Van Thi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting to hear a report on the draft plan for organizing the Thanh Hoa Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Conference in 2024.

The 2024 Thanh Hoa Provincial Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion Conference will be organized on a national scale, combining in-person and online formats. The coordinating units are the Provincial Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion Center and the Foreign Investment Agency - Ministry of Planning and Investment . The conference is tentatively scheduled for the third quarter of 2024, with an estimated 1,200 delegates attending in person and over 200 attending online.
Leaders of the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center presented the draft plan for organizing the Thanh Hoa Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Conference in 2024.
The conference aims to promote and introduce the potential, strengths, and outstanding and attractive policies of Thanh Hoa province in investment, trade, and tourism; to introduce the areas and projects that Thanh Hoa province is prioritizing for investment, its distinctive products, and attractive tourist destinations. The conference serves as a forum to bring together and attract domestic and foreign organizations, businesses, and investors to meet and engage in open dialogue with the Thanh Hoa provincial government and businesses to seek cooperation opportunities in investment, trade development, and tourism; to introduce and promote the beauty of the land and people of Thanh Hoa, creating effective communication about Thanh Hoa province's rich potential and numerous attractive investment opportunities for domestic and foreign investors.
Representatives from the Provincial People's Committee Office gave their comments and suggestions at the conference.
Representatives from the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department delivered speeches and offered suggestions at the conference.

The delegates attending the conference discussed, reviewed, and agreed on the list of projects for which investment approval decisions, investment registration certificates, or investment memoranda of understanding were granted. They also considered and decided on the location and time of the conference, assigned tasks for organizing the event, welcoming delegates, ensuring security and order, and other activities within the framework of the conference.
Speaking at the conference, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi affirmed: This is a large-scale investment, trade, service and tourism promotion conference in 2024. Therefore, the organization must ensure solemnity, professionalism, safety and efficiency, creating brand highlights, good images, and spreading effects to the business community and investors. He basically agreed with the plan to organize the Thanh Hoa province Investment, Trade, Service and Tourism Promotion Conference in 2024; at the same time, gave comments to add some contents, overall program, activities within the framework of the conference; the preparation of documents to introduce and promote opportunities, investment, trade, service and tourism potential of Thanh Hoa province and other activities need to be carefully, methodically and seriously prepared.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Van Thi, requested that, based on the contributions from departments and agencies, the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center review and finalize the draft plan for organizing the conference and submit it to the Provincial People's Committee in May 2024. He also requested that the departments and agencies assigned the task ensure thorough preparation so that the conference is organized in a dignified and safe manner, contributing to promoting the image of Thanh Hoa as a province with rich potential and attractive investment opportunities to businesses, investors, and friends both domestically and internationally.
