The province's viewpoint is to combine preservation with promotion, integrating with tourism to create livelihoods and spread historical and cultural values to the community. Restoration work is carried out seriously and in accordance with regulations, minimizing the creation of new structures or alterations to the historical sites.

The Provincial People's Committee has approved the plan for the preservation, restoration, and rehabilitation of 104 historical sites in the period 2022-2025; and has also agreed on the investment policy for 200 projects to restore and renovate historical sites (36 projects have been completed; 11 projects are underway; 44 projects have started construction, and dozens of projects are in the investment preparation phase).
