At the meeting, delegates will discuss the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2026-2030 in the province; difficulties in establishing unit prices and compensation levels for damage to crops and livestock when the State reclaims land in Tuyen Quang province; the plan for implementing the National Target Program for socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas of Tuyen Quang province for the period 2021-2025; and other important issues.

According to the draft Medium-Term Public Investment Plan for the period 2026-2030, Tuyen Quang province aims to maximize the attraction and effective utilization of investment capital for development, investing in essential economic and social infrastructure systems to serve the implementation of the goals and targets of the 10-year socio-economic development strategy for the period 2021-2030 and the projected 5-year socio-economic development plan for the period 2026-2030 of the province.
Public investment capital is focused and prioritized to implement major tasks, accelerate progress, and complete a synchronous and modern infrastructure. Priority is given to allocating capital to national target programs, nationally important projects, highway projects, connectivity projects with inter-regional impact, projects that promote rapid and sustainable socio-economic development, programs, tasks, and projects related to national defense, security, justice, science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, education , training of high-quality human resources, protection and care of people's health, adaptation to climate change, ensuring water security, and green transformation in accordance with approved sectoral and field plans.
Comrade Van Dinh Thao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, delivered a speech at the meeting.
At the same time, continue to prioritize public investment funds from the state budget for infrastructure development in ethnic minority areas, areas frequently affected by natural disasters, storms, floods, climate change, droughts, areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions, and dynamic economic zones and growth poles.
Accordingly, the projected public investment needs from the state budget for the period 2026-2030 are over 55,248 billion VND (excluding national target programs). Of this amount: 21,695.09 billion VND from local budgets and 33,553.461 billion VND from the central government budget.

Speaking at the meeting, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and various departments and agencies discussed and proposed investment in several projects and works during the 2026-2030 period to develop the local economy and society.
In his concluding remarks on the content of the Medium-Term Public Investment Plan for the period 2026-2030 of Tuyen Quang province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son emphasized that all sectors and localities must adhere to strategic plans, follow allocation criteria and capital plans, prioritize objectives, and accelerate the progress of key programs and projects.

Regarding newly launched projects, the comrade suggested focusing on developing transportation infrastructure, first and foremost by maximizing the utilization of the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway interchanges to create space for development. At the same time, focus should be placed on investing in connecting routes with inter-regional localities to leverage the potential advantages of each locality for development. The comrade also pointed out several issues related to investment in cultural, social, and irrigation projects.
Regarding the difficulties in establishing unit prices and compensation rates for crop and livestock damage when the State reclaims land in Tuyen Quang province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son requested the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to closely coordinate with the Department of Justice to develop specific, accurate unit prices that comply with legal regulations. The members of the Provincial People's Committee agreed with the proposed points.

Regarding the content of the plan for implementing the National Target Program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas of Tuyen Quang province for the period 2021-2025, the members of the Provincial People's Committee unanimously agreed with the proposal of the Ethnic Affairs Committee as presented at the meeting.
At the meeting, the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and the delegates also discussed several other important issues.
