With sincere and grateful hearts, more than 400 cadres, members, youth union members, armed forces of the ward and students of Kien Tuong High School cleaned the area of the Memorial Temple for martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the Tet Offensive in 1968. At the same time, they cleaned the grounds of Moc Hoa - Kien Tuong Martyrs Cemetery; replaced old flowers and placed new flowers at the martyrs' graves, creating a clean and beautiful environment.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Quang (Youth Union of Kien Tuong Water Supply and Environment Joint Stock Company) shared: "This activity not only raises awareness among union members and young people about the good traditions and morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" of the nation, but also the responsibility, sacred feelings, and gratitude of today's young generation towards the previous generation".
Moc Hoa - Kien Tuong Martyrs Cemetery is the resting place of 1,336 heroes and martyrs, of which 683 graves are unknown.
Over the past time, with the investment attention of the State and the joint care of the people, these works are always clean, beautiful, spacious, becoming "red addresses" toeducate traditions for today's and future generations./.
