The launching ceremony was held at the Northern Nghe An College of Economics and Technology, and was broadcast live on the Facebook page "Nghe An - lifelong learning" to all staff, managers and teachers across the province.

The Lifelong Learning Week 2025 is being implemented with the theme “Learning to develop yourself, mastering knowledge and technology, contributing to building a strong and prosperous country”. Thereby, raising awareness among all classes of people about the role of learning, especially self-study and lifelong learning, in mastering knowledge and technology to adapt to the rapid changes of digital society.

The highlight of this year is the close connection between learning and digital transformation with many diverse and creative activities, focusing on the application of information technology and digital platforms to ensure practicality and efficiency. Activities not only take place within the school, but also extend to the community, agencies, and businesses, creating a widespread, interconnected and sustainable learning movement.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An affirmed the importance of lifelong learning. Especially in the context of the 4.0 technology revolution with many breakthrough achievements of science , technology and artificial intelligence, learning is even more important.

Continuous and regular learning helps each person grasp and apply technology, turning the challenges of the times into opportunities for breakthroughs, creativity and entrepreneurship. Contribute to building a strong and prosperous Vietnam, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world powers, as the aspiration that our people have cherished for generations.

To realize the above goals, at the launching ceremony, the leaders of the Department of Education and Training requested that Party committees, authorities and organizations continue to pay attention, accompany and devote more resources to building a learning society, creating conditions for all citizens, regardless of age or circumstances, to have access to new knowledge and technology.
On the part of the Education and Training sector, educational institutions, libraries, and community learning centers need to promote creativity, organize practical activities, and arouse reading and learning culture, so that each school becomes a "home of knowledge" and each village becomes a "learning village".

For each cadre, civil servant, public employee, student and every citizen, let us promote the spirit of self-study, learning from books, learning from practice, learning from everyone; at the same time, spread knowledge, contributing to forming a community of learning and progressing together.
On this occasion, Nghe An Province's Association for Promotion of Education presented 40 gifts to students with difficult circumstances who have made great efforts in their studies, each worth 500,000 VND; Nghe An Books and School Equipment Company presented a bookcase to Bac Nghe An College of Economics and Technology worth 10 million VND. In addition, Newstar English Center presented 50 scholarships to students of kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools in Quynh Son commune and Quynh Luu Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center, each worth 500,000 VND.
