Opening the conference, the Chairwoman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, Nguyen Thi Mai Thuy, announced the documents and decisions of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association and the Standing Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee regarding the personnel for the position of Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Farmers' Association for the 2018-2023 term.
The Chairperson of the Provincial Farmers' Association, Nguyen Thi Mai Thuy, announced the decisions of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association regarding the appointment of the Vice Chairperson of the Association.
According to Official Letter No. 666-CV/DD-HNDVN on personnel matters dated July 7, 2023, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association agrees with the proposal of the Party Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Farmers' Association to nominate Mr. Tran Dinh Uoc - Head of the Management Board of the Dong Loc Crossroads Historical Site - for the Provincial Farmers' Association Executive Committee to elect him as an additional member of the Executive Committee, a member of the Standing Committee, and to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association for the 2018-2023 term.
According to Decision No. 652-QD/TU dated August 7, 2023, of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee on the transfer and nomination of candidates, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee decided to transfer Mr. Tran Dinh Uoc - Head of the Management Board of the Dong Loc Crossroads Historical Site - to work at the Provincial Farmers' Association from August 10, 2023, and nominate him as a candidate for election to the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association for the 2018-2023 term.

At the conference, the members of the Provincial Farmers' Association Executive Committee voted to elect Mr. Tran Dinh Uoc, Head of the Management Board of the Dong Loc Crossroads Historical Site, as Vice Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association for the 2018-2023 term with 100% of the votes.

According to the report of the Provincial Farmers' Association, from the beginning of the year until now, associations at all levels throughout the province have organized nearly 3,000 propaganda sessions for 319,459 farmer members on the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and regulations; resolutions of the province and farmers' associations at all levels; and have encouraged 165,118 households to register as excellent production and business households at all levels...
The provincial-level associations mobilized 12.55 billion VND, provided 120,082 man-days of labor, encouraged officials and farmer members to participate in and contribute to building new rural areas and civilized urban areas; and mobilized resources to donate 11,426 gifts worth over 6 billion VND to members and farmers in the area.
The various levels of the Farmers' Association also guided the establishment of 17 cooperative groups, 5 cooperatives, and the creation of 2 professional farmers' branches and 138 professional farmers' groups. Actively supporting loan access for farmer members, the total capital of the Farmers' Support Fund currently stands at 55.841 billion VND, disbursed to 918 production development projects, with 2,453 member households receiving loans.
In addition, the various levels of the Farmers' Association completed the congresses at the grassroots and district levels; and prepared the content and conditions to ensure the organization of the 10th Provincial Farmers' Association Congress, term 2023 - 2028.
