On the afternoon of November 14th, Comrade Mai Van Hai, Provincial Party Committee member and Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, attended and celebrated the National Unity Day with the people and officials of Nghi Vinh village, Nga Vinh commune (Nga Son district) to commemorate the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's traditional day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024).

Comrade Mai Van Hai, Provincial Party Committee member and Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, attended and celebrated the National Unity Day with the people and officials of Nghi Vinh village.

Also attending and sharing in the festivities were representatives from the Provincial Fatherland Front; leaders of Nga Son district; and a large number of people from Nghi Vinh village.

In the joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere of the festival, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Mai Van Hai, along with other delegates and residents of Nghi Vinh village, reviewed the 94-year history of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's development and growth; assessed the implementation of patriotic emulation campaigns and movements; the results of building new rural areas; and launched new patriotic emulation movements.

The Nghi Vinh residential area is located in the eastern part of Nga Vinh commune, with Provincial Road 527B running through it, covering a total natural land area of ​​110 hectares. The entire village has 214 households with 758 inhabitants. In 2024, in response to the campaigns and patriotic emulation movements launched by the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front, especially the "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" campaign, the people of Nghi Vinh residential area have implemented many creative approaches and developed many effective models, mobilizing the potential, creativity, and voluntary participation of all strata of people, union members, and association members to overcome difficulties and contribute resources to socio -economic development, contributing to the completion of criteria for advanced new rural communes and model new rural villages.

To date, the average per capita income in the village in 2024 is estimated at 70.1 million VND. The total income reached 53.2 billion VND, with a production value growth rate of over 10%. 91.5% of households in the village are recognized as "cultural households," and 90% of households are recognized as "exemplary grandparents, parents, and filial children"... Nghi Vinh village is requesting that the competent authorities assess and recognize the village as having met all 15 criteria for a model new rural village.

Acknowledging and commending the achievements of Nghi Vinh village, Deputy Head of the Thanh Hoa Provincial National Assembly Delegation Mai Van Hai expressed his hope that the officials and people of Nghi Vinh village would continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, work together, strive and compete in labor and production, focus on economic and social development, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns in the locality, and look forward to the Party Congress at all levels. In addition, the village should continue to pay attention to promoting education and talent development for local children, ensure security and order, maintain environmental hygiene, promote democracy among the people, and request that the competent authorities continue to pay attention to and support Nghi Vinh village in completing the criteria and soon achieving the model new rural area standard.

On this occasion, Mr. Mai Van Hai, Deputy Head of the Thanh Hoa Provincial National Assembly Delegation, presented the officials and people of Nghi Vinh village with a photograph of President Ho Chi Minh shaking hands with President Ton Duc Thang – a beautiful image of North-South solidarity, a sacred symbol of the great national unity of Vietnam; provided 80 million VND in support for building a solidarity house for Mr. Mai Duy Quyet's family; and presented 10 gifts to households with particularly difficult circumstances in the area.
