This is the location where the incident of a parent entering a classroom and assaulting a student occurred.

On September 25th, Mr. Le Cong Thong, Principal of Nguyen Du Secondary School in Tam Ky City, Quang Nam province, informed that the school is investigating the incident where a parent entered the classroom and assaulted an 8th-grade student.

According to initial information, on the morning of September 24th, during playtime, two students from class 8/9 and one student from class 8/11 of Nguyen Du Secondary School had a conflict that led to a fight. Afterwards, the student from class 8/11 borrowed a phone from the school's security guard to call his parents. The male parent came to the school to take his child to the hospital. That afternoon, the parent returned to the school and went into class 8/9 to assault the other student. Upon discovering the incident, the security guard and teachers intervened, and the parent left.

According to Mr. Thong, yesterday afternoon the school held a sports activity in the schoolyard, with many people coming to cheer. Therefore, when the male parent entered the classroom and assaulted the student, the security guard was unable to intervene in time. After the incident, the homeroom teacher requested the three students involved to write a report.

On the morning of September 25th, the school invited the parents and three 8th-grade students involved in the incident to a meeting. The meeting was attended by the school's administration, the homeroom teacher, and the head of the student council. During the meeting, the students involved in the fight acknowledged their wrongdoing. The parent who stormed into the classroom and assaulted the students also admitted their mistake and apologized to the students and their parents, as well as to the school's administration.

"The three parents agreed to stop the incident and prevent similar incidents from happening again. The students also reconciled with each other," Mr. Thong said.
