The sight of parents' motorbikes neatly lined up in rows in front of Nguyen Duy Trinh Primary School (Ngu Hanh Son Ward, Da Nang City) is pleasing to the eye.

All vehicles parked at the main and side gates of the school are neatly arranged in rows. Parents say that parking has become a routine and doesn't need any reminders. Photo: Thanh Hien. The road in front of the main gate is quite narrow, so parents are even more conscious of parking their vehicles neatly. The rows of motorbikes are perfectly aligned, giving passersby a sense of security. "If everyone parked wherever they wanted, the whole area would be gridlocked. We are always conscious of parking in the right places, neatly arranged, to ensure smooth traffic flow and also to set a good example for our children. Seeing the school gate where our children study clear and cars neatly lined up makes us very proud," a parent shared.
The school gate remains peaceful and unobstructed thanks to the high level of awareness among parents.
In the 2025-2026 school year, Nguyen Duy Trinh Primary School will have over 1,000 students, and each time classes end, a large number of parents come to pick up their children. However, the road remains clear because vehicles are neatly parked. The roads around the school are also marked with lines to provide parking spaces for hundreds of motorbikes each day. Ms. Nguyen Thi Duyen (Cam Le ward) expressed her delight at seeing the neat rows of motorbikes in front of the school gate. "Many schools are completely gridlocked with traffic at dismissal time, making it impossible to move. It's both time-consuming and dangerous. I'm very impressed because the parents here are very conscious and civilized, creating a beautiful school gate that many other places should emulate," she said. Motorcyclists and pedestrians alike can travel safely, even when thousands of people are passing through the crowded road after school.
According to parents, for a long time, everyone has considered parking in designated spots, avoiding competition, deliberately parking illegally, or driving onto the sidewalk as proper etiquette when arriving at school gates.
"No one needs to remind them; everyone consciously parks their vehicles close to the edge of the road, in a straight line, to leave space for the walkway and also to beautify the school gate," a parent shared. Picking up the kids is less stressful because there's no longer the hassle of getting stuck in traffic in front of the school gate.
