Specifically, patient HVD (born in 2011) was transferred from a district hospital to a provincial hospital in critical condition, diagnosed with severe shock due to massive blood loss and grade IV liver injury.
Dr. Phan Khanh Viet, Head of the General Surgery Department, said that after more than 1 month of treatment, with the dedicated care of doctors and nurses from the Department of Intensive Care - Anti-Poison and the Department of General Surgery, the patient's health has gradually stabilized, he can eat and drink on his own and was discharged from the hospital on October 29.

During the time patient HVD was treated at the Provincial General Hospital, knowing that the family's circumstances were very difficult, being a poor household in the locality, the hospital's Social Work Team called for support from charitable organizations and individuals, receiving nearly 45 million VND to support the child with the cost of treatment at the hospital and care at home after discharge.
