The highlight of this year's Moc Chau culture and tourism week is the street community cultural activities, introducing unique folk songs, folk dances, and ethnic musical instruments with the participation of artists and mass actors of the following ethnic groups: Thai, Dao, Muong, Mong...
Ms. Ly Thi Xuan, Pieng Sang village, Phieng Luong commune excitedly said: "Coming to the cultural tourism week, I am very honored to participate and bring my cultural identity to the national tourist destination. When performing my ethnic identity, I am very proud and hope that through programs like this, I will promote more culture, more tourists will know about my ethnic cultural identity".
Along with that, visitors can visit and experience the cultural camp space of the localities, where religious spaces, costumes, jewelry, labor tools, production, traditional crafts and local specialty agricultural products are displayed and introduced.
Tourist Nguyen Hong Ha, from Hanoi, shared: "The first time I came to Moc Chau, I felt that Independence Day in Moc Chau was very warm and full of colors of the ethnic groups here. I also felt that the Mong people respected September 2nd very much, taking this day as Independence Day for the Mong people in particular and the Vietnamese people in general."
The cultural, sports and tourism activities that Moc Chau district maintains and organizes every year on the occasion of the National Day September 2 have become annual events, attracting tens of thousands of visitors each time they are held, affirming the attractiveness of traditional cultural values and the prospects for developing sustainable "cultural tourism" that Moc Chau district is aiming for.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, Vice Chairwoman of Moc Chau District People's Committee, Son La Province said: "This year, the joy of the Party Committee, the government and the people of Moc Chau district is multiplied because Moc Chau has been recognized as a National Tourist Area. We also hope that, coming to Moc Chau on this occasion, visitors will experience the most typical and unique cultural features of Moc Chau ethnic groups. Hopefully, the Moc Chau cultural and tourism week "Call of Love Season" will leave a good impression in the hearts of visitors from near and far".
Within the framework of the cultural and tourism week, tonight (September 1), at 8/5 Square, Moc Chau District Administrative Center, a special art program will take place with the theme "Passionate Date Night".
