On June 1, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Court announced that it had transferred the entire case file of Nguyen Phuong Hang and four accomplices for the crime of "abusing democratic freedoms to infringe upon the interests of the State and the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals" to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Procuracy to clarify a number of issues.

In addition, when the People's Court of Ho Chi Minh City accepted the case file, Mr. Nguyen Quang Tuan (son of Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang) continuously filed criminal complaints to the prosecution agencies, including the People's Court of Ho Chi Minh City, accusing Mr. Huynh Uy Dung (Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang's husband) of being an accomplice of Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang in the above case.

The Office of the Ministry of Public Security 's Investigation Police Agency also sent a document transferring Mr. Nguyen Quang Tuan's complaint to the Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Police Agency to direct the handling according to authority and notify the results to the Office of the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency, the person who submitted the complaint, about the content of Mr. Tuan's complaint against Mr. Huynh Uy Dung.

Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang was prosecuted and detained from March 24, 2022.

The indictment determined that from around March 2021, through social networks, defendant Nguyen Phuong Hang organized many livestream sessions to directly speak about personal privacy secrets and content that affected the reputation and honor of 10 individuals, including: Mr. Vo Nguyen Hoai Linh (artist Hoai Linh), Ms. Nguyen Thi My Oanh (singer Vy Oanh), Ms. Dang Thi Han Ni (journalist, master of law Han Ni), Mr. Huynh Minh Hung (singer Dam Vinh Hung), Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Tien (singer Thuy Tien) and her husband Le Cong Vinh, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien (Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Ho Chi Minh City Law Newspaper), Ms. Dinh Thi Lan, Ms. Le Thi Giau, Ms. Truong Viet Ha.

4 accomplices of Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang, including: Doctor of Law Dang Anh Quan (lecturer at Ho Chi Minh City University of Law), Nguyen Thi Mai Nhi (40 years old, assistant of Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang), Le Thi Thu Ha (31 years old, employee of Dai Nam Joint Stock Company), Huynh Cong Tan (29 years old, Head of Communications Department of Dai Nam Joint Stock Company).

Currently, the lawyer defending Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang is lawyer Ho Nguyen Le.
