Awarding the Medal "For the cause of culture, sports and tourism" to Professor David Joseph Pierce

On the morning of January 3, 2025, the Awarding Ceremony of the Medal “For the Cause of Culture, Sports and Tourism” to Professor David Joseph Pierce took place at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum (VNFAM). Attending the Awarding Ceremony were representatives of the Museum's Board of Directors, Heads of Departments and Museum staff.

At the Award Ceremony, on behalf of the Museum, Dr. Nguyen Anh Minh - Director of the Museum expressed his sincere thanks to Professor David Joseph Pierce for his valuable contributions and support in the design of the Museum's identity and communication products over the years. Many of his products have been applied and received positive feedback from the public. This "For the cause of culture, sports and tourism" medal is a recognition for Professor David Joseph Pierce. Director Nguyen Anh Minh hopes that in the coming time, Professor Pierce will continue to contribute to the development of the Museum in particular and the Vietnamese cultural industry in general.

Speaking at the Award Ceremony, Professor David Joseph Pierce expressed his deep gratitude and said that it was a great honor for him to receive this Medal. For him, the cooperation with the Museum has given him the opportunity to learn and exchange a lot with the Museum staff and cultural experts, both academically and practically. He wishes to continue his activities with the Museum and will do his best to contribute to the development of the Museum.
