The 95th Regiment, formerly the Thien Thuat Detachment, was established in 1945 in the war-torn land of Quang Tri , and was one of the first main units of the Vietnam People's Army. Over 80 years of fighting and development, generations of officers and soldiers of the Regiment have consistently excelled in their duties, earning the prestigious title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces from the Party and the State.

On the occasion of its 80th anniversary, the Regiment was also honored to receive the Third-Class Order of National Defense.
At the program, officers and soldiers of Regiment 95 performed special artistic performances praising the Party, the Fatherland, President Ho Chi Minh, traditional songs of the unit, and dance performances.
