This is the third year the contest has been held across the province, continuing to affirm the determination of the Education sector in building a vibrant English-using environment, creating a useful playground to help students practice language skills, contributing to the effective implementation of the Quang Ninh Foreign Language Teaching and Learning Project, gradually making English the second language in schools.

This year's contest received positive responses from schools and students in the province. After the preliminary round at the commune level and the cluster round at 13 school clusters, 78 best contestants were selected to participate in the provincial round. They are all outstanding members of the English Club of 13 secondary schools, not only showing dynamism and initiative but also affirming outstanding confidence in thinking and using foreign languages.

The provincial round consists of four parts: Greeting, General Knowledge, Talent and Eloquence. The contests not only test English knowledge and skills but also help students practice critical thinking, communication, cooperation and creativity, important skills for global citizens.

The Organizing Committee acknowledged the active preparation of educational institutions; the companionship of teachers and parents; and the support of foreign language centers BigBen, Ames, Army, Shelton and the Vietnam Center for Education and Capacity Development and Thinking.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded first prize to Trong Diem Secondary School (Ha Long Ward) and Hoa Lac Secondary School (Mong Cai 1 Ward); and also awarded 2 second prizes, 4 third prizes and 5 consolation prizes.

Not only is it a useful playground, the contest also contributes to promoting the goals of improving foreign language proficiency of students in the whole province. In particular, to realize the Project "Bringing English as a second language in schools for the period 2025-2035" (approved by the Government on October 27, 2025), the Department of Education and Training of Quang Ninh is advising the Provincial People's Committee to develop an implementation plan, focusing on expanding experiential activities and real English-using environments for students. In the coming time, many playgrounds and foreign language activities will continue to be invested in, thereby helping students become more confident in communication, enhancing international integration and promoting the English learning movement in the whole province.
