On the morning of December 18th, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quynh Luu commune held its delegate congress for the 2024-2029 term. This unit was selected by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nho Quan district to hold a model congress.
During the 2019-2024 term, the Fatherland Front Committee of Quynh Luu commune focused on innovating the content and methods of its activities, contributing to consolidating and promoting national unity and religious solidarity in the locality.
Over the past five years, the campaigns and emulation movements launched by the Fatherland Front Committee of the commune have been implemented with a focus on key areas; strongly stimulating the spirit of creative labor emulation among the people and the collective efforts of the entire community in participating in economic development, solving social problems, building new rural areas, and achieving sustainable poverty reduction.
For example: The Fatherland Front of the commune and its member organizations have mobilized people from all walks of life to contribute over 2 billion VND, donate more than 10,000 m2 of land and thousands of man-days of labor to build public works; 100% of residential areas in the commune have been recognized as cultural residential areas; 91% of households have achieved the title of cultural family; the number of poor households according to the new criteria is only 25, a decrease of 30 households compared to 2019; political security and social order and safety are ensured; local defense and military work in the area is maintained...
As a result of these campaigns and emulation movements, confidence has been built among all segments of the population in the leadership of the Party and the administration of the government at all levels.
Building on the achievements, the Congress set forth directions for the 2024-2029 term with 8 targets, 5 key tasks, and 2 breakthroughs. These focus on concretizing the Resolution of the Commune Party Congress on building national unity; improving propaganda, mobilization, and gathering of all strata of the people; strengthening social supervision and criticism; continuing to innovate the organizational structure, content, and methods of operation; and enhancing the capacity of Front cadres to meet the requirements of the new period...
With a spirit of unity, democracy, creativity, and development, the Congress elected 35 comrades to the Fatherland Front Committee of Quynh Luu commune for the 2024-2029 term and elected 4 official delegates to attend the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nho Quan district, 2024-2029 term.
