VNPT-iGate: The nucleus to promote administrative reform and national digital transformation

In the process of building a digital government towards a service-oriented, transparent and efficient administration, the VNPT-iGate One-Stop-Shop system is emerging as one of the core digital infrastructure solutions in Vietnam. As an initiative posted on the National Science and Technology Initiative Portal (https://nq57.most.gov.vn), VNPT-iGate is not only an administrative records management software, but also a digital infrastructure platform that helps state agencies, businesses and citizens participate in the digital government ecosystem - aiming at the goal of "serving citizens instead of managing citizens".

Currently, the Vietnamese Government is promoting comprehensive digital transformation, especially in the field of administrative reform and e-Government development, the need for a unified, interconnected, and modern management system is becoming increasingly urgent. From that reality, VNPT Group has researched and developed VNPT-iGate - an interconnected electronic One-stop solution, serving all provinces and cities across the country, from the department, branch, and industry level to the commune level.

Born with the goal of bringing all administrative procedures to the digital environment, VNPT-iGate helps management agencies easily operate and process records, while creating conditions for people and businesses to carry out procedures quickly and transparently, anytime, anywhere.

With deep integration into systems such as the National Public Service Portal, VNeID identification platform, VNPT SmartCA, and more than 200 online public services at levels 3 and 4, VNPT-iGate is contributing to realizing the model of "Digital Government serving the people".

The Intelligent Operation Center (IOC) uses the VNPT-iGate one-stop software.

VNPT-iGate is designed according to a four-level interconnected architecture model, synchronously connecting administrative agencies from central to local levels. The system allows management of the entire document processing process - from receiving, sorting, processing, approving to returning results - completely online. People only need to access via computer or smartphone, look up procedures, submit electronic documents and monitor processing progress in real time.

One of the highlights of VNPT-iGate is the ability to automate business processes and synchronize inter-industry data, helping to reduce up to 60% of file processing time, limit errors and significantly save operating costs. The system is developed on open architecture, cloud computing technology, allowing flexible deployment, high security and easy scalability.

In particular, VNPT-iGate deeply integrates the utilities of the national digital platform, such as: VNPT SmartCA remote digital signature helps people and officials approve documents quickly and safely; Connecting VNeID electronic identification to authenticate citizen information, minimizing the risk of fraud; Integrating with the electronic payment system, supporting people to pay fees and charges online; Connecting with the National Document Interconnection Axis, ensuring smooth and transparent processing flow between agencies...

VNPT-iGate not only changes the way administrative records are managed, but also creates a breakthrough in the digital citizen experience. With a friendly interface and intuitive process, people can perform procedures such as birth registration, business license issuance, driver's license renewal, document authentication... in just a few minutes. The system automatically sends notifications via SMS or email when records are updated, helping people proactively monitor without having to go to administrative agencies.

For officials and civil servants, VNPT-iGate helps reduce the amount of paperwork, optimize work processes, improve productivity and service quality. All operations are recorded, tracked, ensuring transparency, publicity and can be checked and monitored. The system also integrates statistical reports, real-time data analysis, supporting leaders at all levels in making decisions, evaluating work efficiency and promptly handling "bottlenecks" in the process of handling documents.

In particular, with the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in data analysis and file processing suggestions, VNPT-iGate is gradually moving towards a "smart administration" model, where technology supports people in making decisions faster, more accurately and more transparently.
