Experts from Savills Vietnam Company commented that the foreign direct investment (FDI) capital flow reached the highest level in the past 5 years, creating a new wave of growth for the integrated facilities management (IFM) market in Vietnam; making Vietnam a bright spot in the emerging IFM market group. IFM is a comprehensive facilities management model, combining technical operations, equipment maintenance, energy management, security, cleaning and other support services, helping businesses improve operational efficiency, optimize costs and comply with international ESG (environment - social - governance) standards.

According to the General Statistics Office ( Ministry of Finance ), foreign investment attraction in the 11 months of 2025 continued to record positive numbers with registered capital reaching nearly 33.7 billion USD, realized capital reaching 23.6 billion USD - the highest level in the past 5 years.

This capital is creating a solid foundation for demand for IFM services in factories, logistics centers and office buildings, especially in the context of foreign investors continuing to expand production in Vietnam.

According to Mordor Intelligence, an international market research and consulting company, the global IFM market is on a strong growth trajectory, expected to reach $270 billion by 2030 with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7%, reflecting the need to optimize operations, reduce costs and improve safety standards at production and commercial facilities.

The Asia- Pacific region continues to be a key growth hub thanks to industrial expansion, rapid urbanization and strong digital transformation.

In that context, Vietnam is becoming a bright spot in the emerging IFM market of the Southeast Asia (ASEAN) region, with an estimated growth rate of 7–9% per year in the commercial and industrial segment, higher than the global average.

The main growth drivers come from sustainable FDI inflows, the “China+1” production shift trend and the increasingly rapid urbanization.

Savills Vietnam experts commented that the domestic market is rapidly shifting from single service contracts to more comprehensive and efficient IFM solutions, driven by the need to optimize operating expenses (OPEX), apply digital management platforms and ensure compliance with international safety and ESG standards.

The outsourced IFM segment recorded the fastest growth (CAGR 7.8%), as businesses prioritized cooperation with specialized units to improve operational efficiency and quality.

Sharing about market trends, Mr. Luca Vadala - National Business Development Director, IFM services at Savills Vietnam, commented that the strong increase in FDI capital, the development of industrial foundation and rapid urbanization are creating a new wave of growth for the IFM segment in Vietnam, applied to all types from factories, logistics centers to corporate offices.

In this dynamic context, Vietnam's IFM market is forecast to double by 2030, reaching a size of about 662 billion USD - Mr. Luca Vadala informed.
