Provincial National Assembly deputies meet voters after the 5th Session of the 15th National Assembly

On June 26th, the National Assembly delegation from the province (constituency No. 1), including comrades Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province; and Chamaléa Thi Thuy, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, held a meeting with voters in Vinh Hai commune (Ninh Hai district).

During the meeting, after hearing the Provincial National Assembly Delegation report on important contents of the 5th Session of the 15th National Assembly, many voters expressed joy and enthusiasm at the delegates' sense of responsibility in fully conveying the people's recommendations to central ministries and agencies. They also continued to raise several issues that need attention and resolution, such as: the need for the Central Government to promptly consider and issue an official conclusion on the Ninh Thuan nuclear power project to stabilize the lives of people in the project area; the public's dissatisfaction with the increase in electricity prices; increasing compensation to ensure people's rights when the state reclaims land for construction projects; the need for a well-planned tourism development strategy; policies to support people in safe zone communes; and attention to building cemeteries and issuing land use right certificates to people…

Speaking at the meeting with voters, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the heartfelt opinions of the voters raised at the meeting and directly answered some of their questions. In particular, regarding the nuclear power project, he provided specific answers, analyses, and clarifications on issues that people were still concerned about. For recommendations falling under the jurisdiction of local authorities, he requested that leaders of departments, sectors, and localities continue to review and promptly resolve outstanding issues, meeting the people's expectations. He hoped that voters would continue to support the activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation so that they could improve further; and work together with the Party Committee and the government to successfully implement socio -economic development tasks.
