The 5th Congress of Ninh Binh Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association

Attending the event were Comrade Hoang Binh Quan, former Member of the Central Committee of the Party, former Head of the Central Committee's Foreign Affairs Department, former First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, Honorary President of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association; Do Viet Anh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department; Bui Mai Hoa, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; and Nguyen Cao Son, Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Also attending were leaders of the Vietnam Youth Union, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association; leaders of several departments, agencies, and organizations of the province; leaders of districts and cities; the Provincial Business Association; Young Entrepreneurs Associations of several provinces and cities; and 176 delegates who are outstanding young entrepreneurs of the province.

On this occasion, Comrade Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, sent a congratulatory flower arrangement to the Congress.

During the 2018-2023 term, closely following the guidance of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, with the courage and enthusiasm of young entrepreneurs in Ninh Binh province, the work of the Association and the young entrepreneur movement in the province have undergone positive and significant changes, achieving many outstanding results in various fields.

The work of building and developing the Association's organization has received attention. During the term, the Association has reorganized its Committee with 39 members and attracted 167 members to participate in its activities.

Numerous programs and activities promoting trade, joint ventures, and investment partnerships in production and business using the products have been intensified; 12 high-quality seminars, training courses, and workshops were organized and participated in, featuring insights from leading experts both domestically and internationally. This has contributed to strengthening cooperation and linkages among young businesses, creating new resources and development opportunities for members, and enhancing the overall strength and standing of Ninh Binh's young entrepreneurs.

Besides their production and business activities, over the years, members of the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association have actively participated in charitable and humanitarian activities, building 4 houses of compassion, donating thousands of gifts to people in difficult circumstances inside and outside the province with a total value of billions of VND, making practical contributions to social welfare work in the locality.

With the goal of strengthening solidarity, gathering young entrepreneurs, and developing and improving the quality of the Association's activities in a professional, effective, and practical manner, the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association for the 2024-2028 term has determined: To continue consolidating the Association's organization; to accompany member businesses in enhancing their competitiveness in international economic integration; to support entrepreneurs and businesses in quickly accessing legal information, business practices, advanced technologies, production linkages, and brand enhancement; to support young people in starting and developing innovative startups; to strengthen social welfare activities; and to make practical contributions to the socio-economic development of the locality.

Delivering a keynote address at the Congress, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Cao Son acknowledged and praised the achievements of the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association during the past term.

The comrade also provided an overview of the outstanding results in socio-economic development, the province's development views and orientations in the coming period, with the goal of building Ninh Binh into a centrally-governed city by 2035, characterized as a millennium heritage city and a creative city. The comrade affirmed that in recent years, the Provincial People's Committee has consistently implemented the principle of "Government accompanying, closely connected with, and sharing" with the business community. With the motto "Putting businesses at the center, focusing on businesses," the Provincial People's Committee always pays attention to and creates the most favorable conditions within the legal framework to encourage businesses to develop their internal strengths, develop various types of businesses, and especially support the Young Entrepreneurs Association.

Based on that, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Cao Son suggested that: During the 2024-2028 term, the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association should continue to promote and encourage young entrepreneurs to deeply and fully understand their role and mission, inherit and develop the tradition of solidarity, uphold the spirit of patriotism; and effectively implement the guidelines, policies, and laws of the Party and the State.

Encourage the business community to cultivate business ethics and culture; study and emulate Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style; uphold social responsibility; and participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns. Continue to act as a bridge between young entrepreneurs and Party committees, government agencies, departments, organizations, and the Provincial Business Association. Promote creativity and reflect the aspirations of members, advising provincial leaders on policies and strategies appropriate to local conditions. Develop an information system that ensures responsiveness to market trends.

Furthermore, we will continue to promote the application of digital transformation and green transformation; embrace the application of new technologies; be an active member in building the province's "Four Pillars" of economic development, focusing on developing tourism and cultural industries linked to heritage economics as breakthroughs; developing high-tech industries, with modern, environmentally friendly transportation machinery industries as the driving force; promoting innovative startups and developing ecological, multi-value agriculture as a foundation to promote the province's socio-economic development.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his hope that the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association would continue to uphold its tradition of solidarity, constantly build its strength, develop its organization, encourage young people in various professions to join the Association, and pay attention to the work of building Party organizations and socio-political organizations in non-state enterprises. He also urged them to consistently care for the interests of workers and to be exemplary leaders in building a cultured lifestyle for entrepreneurs and businesses, demonstrating a sense of responsibility to the community, and contributing to building a stronger and more civilized Ninh Binh province.

At the Congress, leaders from the Provincial People's Committee, the Vietnam Youth Union, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, the Provincial Business Association, and the Provincial Youth Union presented beautiful flower arrangements to express their affection and expectations for the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association for the 2024-2028 term.

The congress elected the Ninh Binh Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association Committee for the 5th term, consisting of 39 members. Mr. Nguyen Cong Hoi, Chairman of Hoi Phu Quy Investment & Trading Joint Stock Company and Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association for the 4th term, was re-elected as Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association for the 5th term, 2024-2028.

On this occasion, many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the Association's emulation movements were honored to receive Certificates of Commendation from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association.
