Dak Lak implements domestic tourism stimulus activities in 2024

With the theme “Vietnamese people travel to Vietnam – Vietnam I love”, in this year’s summer tourist season, Dak Lak tourism industry promotes communication and promotes the image of “Dak Lak - Safe, friendly destination, imbued with the identity of the Central Highlands” to tourists. Taking advantage of social networking sites and tourism fairs and exhibitions to expand the market of potential customers.

Dak Lak tourism is characterized by green and ecological experiential attractions.

The province also focuses on organizing many large-scale and periodic cultural activities and festivals such as: the gong performance program Am vang Dai ngan; the 2nd Krong Pak durian festival. Hosting and organizing national and international sports competitions; building unique tourism products, experiencing cultural heritage, community tourism, eco-tourism, green tourism products, agricultural tourism experience tours to visit coffee gardens, durian, macadamia, fruit trees and experiencing local cuisine.

Ms. Nguyen Thuy Phuong Hieu - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak said that the province is actively building unique and attractive tourism products and constantly innovating, increasing the experience for visitors, improving the quality of services when participating in the stimulus program. Along with that, the regional linkage work of "6 localities, 1 destination" and "3 localities, 1 destination" is being promoted.

Dak Lak organizes many activities to stimulate domestic tourism, aiming to attract tourists to the locality.

According to Ms. Hieu, tourism service businesses in Dak Lak province have proactively implemented new tourism programs, diversified products and improved service quality, to increase the experience of tourists. "Businesses have made many preparations, upgraded and renewed products, continued to promote the kayak experience model on the Serepok River, coffee experience, and cocoa model. In the near future, the Department will make 3 more models related to durian, macadamia and coffee in different locations so that tourists have more choices."
