Vietnamese delegation honored for award categories at Asia Digital Technology Capacity Forum 2025

The ICDL Asia Digital Literacy 2025 Forum was held at Nanjing Technical Vocational College, Jiangsu Province (China) last weekend. Here, EMG Education received the ICDL Premier Partner award. This is the second consecutive time EMG Education has been honored with this award, recognizing its outstanding contributions in training and standardizing digital skills for Vietnamese students.
The Forum is an annual event to promote awareness of digital skills, and to create a platform where education managers, IT experts and training units share applications of digital skills and digital education in the Asia region, as well as discuss new trends in the global IT industry.
In addition, within the framework of the forum, teachers Cao Nguyen Thao Nguyen, Nguyen Binh Khiem Primary School (Sai Gon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) and Nguyen Thi Hau, Hoa Lu Secondary School (Tang Nhon Phu Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) were honored with the ICDL Digital Educator Award. Both teachers participated in teaching the international informatics program ICDL Digital Student according to Project 762 - Improving capacity, knowledge, and skills in applying informatics for high school students in Ho Chi Minh City according to international standards, period 2021-2030 of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
The award aims to encourage and empower teachers and lecturers to effectively apply information and communication technology (ICT) in teaching. The initiative aims to enhance digital capacity and ICT application ability of teachers, helping them to effectively use digital tools to improve the quality of teaching and learning.
Representing the Vietnamese delegation, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hau presented a paper on the success of the international information technology program ICDL Digital Student when it was deployed in the Vietnamese educational environment, along with positive changes in the application of information technology in the teaching process to improve the learning experience in particular and the quality of education in general.
