It is known that the situation regarding drug-related crimes and drug addiction in the country in general, and in Quang Tri province in particular, remains very complex, causing enormous economic damage. Drugs are considered a root cause of various criminal offenses, prostitution, and HIV/AIDS infection; the damage to health, mental well-being, culture, and society caused by drugs is immeasurable.
