
This morning, August 19, the My Son World Cultural Heritage Management Board (Thu Bon commune) organized a summary of the Heritage Education program in schools, school year 2024 - 2025.
On May 10, 2024, the My Son Cultural Heritage Management Board and the Department of Education and Training of Duy Xuyen district (old) signed a Joint Plan on organizing heritage education in schools.
In the 2024-2025 school year, the My Son World Cultural Heritage Management Board coordinated to organize 6 heritage education programs, attracting 5,100 students from 49 primary, secondary and high schools in Duy Xuyen district (old). In particular, nearly 100 disabled students from the Quang Nam Center for Support and Inclusive Education for Deaf Children (old) and 5,000 students from universities of tourism, culture, architecture, fine arts, etc. were organized to visit and study extracurricular activities at My Son Temple Complex, My Son Museum and Sa Huynh - Champa Culture Museum.
Besides learning about the historical artifacts and cultural heritage values, students also experience some typical occupations and folk games of the Cham and Vietnamese ethnic groups...
In addition, the My Son World Cultural Heritage Management Board also organizes competitions such as: making a video introducing the My Son World Cultural Heritage in two languages (Vietnamese - English); "I am a heritage tour guide" (English commentary), practicing commentary and tour guiding skills, helping children have the opportunity to improve their English...

On this occasion, the My Son World Cultural Heritage Management Board organized a ceremony to reward students and teachers who actively participated in and successfully completed the Heritage Education program in schools in the 2024-2025 school year.
