Da Nang Drainage and Wastewater Treatment Company is speeding up the construction of a temporary drainage ditch on Road No. 4 in Hoa Khanh Industrial Park (Lien Chieu Ward), basically completing the route before heavy rain occurs.
The company has implemented incident response plans for urban drainage works such as: concentrating forces to clear and clean water intakes, mainly at localized flooding points and areas at risk of flooding.
The company arranges staff to be on duty 24/7 to operate pumping stations and sluice gates; check machinery and equipment, and ensure stable operation of anti-flooding pumping stations when heavy rain occurs. Lower the water level in regulating reservoirs appropriately to maximize water regulation capacity.
At the same time, be ready to organize the operation of mobile anti-flood pumping teams as soon as ordered; proactively contact and hire excavators and transport vehicles to promptly serve the dredging and transportation of waste accumulated in canals to ensure drainage.
Thanh Khe, Hai Chau, Son Tra, An Hai wards..., deployed forces and launched a campaign to clear drainage, remove panels and objects covering rainwater intakes on the road surface.
The Department of Construction continues to request localities to arrange forces to inspect all roads and call on people to restore the normal state of rainwater intakes on the road surface to ensure drainage.
