Within five days, the Vietnamese peacekeeping engineering team completed a national flag measuring nearly 100 square meters at the Level 1 field hospital in Africa.

According to information from the Engineering Corps (Vietnam Peacekeeping Force), to celebrate the 79th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day on September 2nd, the Vietnam Engineering Corps has carried out many practical and meaningful activities.

In particular, at Highway base, the Vietnamese Peacekeeping Engineering Team painted the national flag on the roof of module 3, covering an area of nearly 100 square meters, located in the Level 1 Field Hospital area.

The national flag was positioned prominently in front of the entrance gate, easily visible from the road leading into the base. Despite facing sudden, prolonged rain showers that caused the freshly applied paint to wash away, the team quickly completed the flag in just 5 days.

This is not only a welcome to international friends at the base of the Vietnamese Peacekeeping Engineering Team, but also an affirmation and a source of national pride for each green beret soldier performing their duties in Abyei.

Helping people repair their boats has had many positive impacts, serving the most essential needs of the local people for their daily lives and livelihoods.

The Vietnamese Engineering Corps organized the provision of food, medicine, and clothing to Abyei Hospital, including: intestinal antibiotics (1000 tablets), antibiotics for ear, nose, throat, pneumonia, and skin wounds (2000 tablets), and vitamins (300 tablets); wound disinfectant (50 bottles); anti-flu mouthwash (500 bottles), cotton, bandages, and medical gauze...
