The World Travel Awards has officially announced Vietnam as the World's Leading Heritage Destination in 2024, within the framework of the Awards Ceremony in Madeira, Portugal.
This is the 5th time Vietnam has been honored in this category, following previous achievements in 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023.
To maintain its "form" for 5 consecutive years, Vietnam had to overcome many "heavyweight opponents" such as Armenia, Brazil, Egypt, Greece, Japan, and Saudi Arabia.
This is the 5th time Vietnam has been honored as the World's Leading Heritage Destination.
The title of World's Leading Heritage Destination once again affirms the potential and leading attraction of Vietnam's unique heritage values with a system of 9 world natural and cultural heritages, 15 intangible cultural heritages, and 10 documentary heritages honored by UNESCO.
Besides the beauty of mountains, forests, seas and islands, Vietnam also possesses world natural and cultural heritages, historical and cultural relics associated with traditional festivals, long-standing craft villages, rich cuisine , architectural works with deep historical values...
