Outstanding achievements

In the 2024-2025 school year, Ninh Binh's key education sector continues to make its mark with impressive numbers. At the national high school competition, the province had 227/299 students winning prizes (75.9%), including 1 first prize, 54 second prizes, 81 third prizes and 91 consolation prizes.

This result reflects the persistent efforts of students and teachers, and shows the right direction of the provincial education sector in discovering and nurturing talents. With stable achievements for many years, Ninh Binh is gradually building a "brand" on the national map of key education.

Not only stopping at traditional competitions, the field of science and technology research (KHKT) is also a notable highlight. In the 2024-2025 school year, Ninh Binh had 9/9 projects participating in the National Science and Technology Competition winning prizes, including 2 Second prizes, 3 Third prizes, 1 Fourth prize and 3 Promising prizes.

A typical example is the project “Model of flood warning device using solar energy” by a group of students from Luong Van Tuy High School for the Gifted, which was highly appreciated for its applicability in the context of climate change. The projects not only impressed with their ideas but also demonstrated presentation and debate skills and the ability to implement them in practice.

Success from the science and technology playground has aroused passion for research, creativity and a sense of social responsibility - important qualities of the future generation of global citizens.

Along with these results, Ninh Binh is also proud of its national valedictorians. In the 2025 high school graduation exam, Nguyen Thai An, a student at Kim Son A High School, achieved 30/30 points in the A00 block, becoming the national valedictorian in the natural sciences block. Along with that, Tran Xuan Dam, a student at My Loc High School, excelled to become one of the two national valedictorians with 39/40 points.

The achievements of the two valedictorians are a living testament to the combination of individual efforts, the tradition of studiousness and the province's increasingly developing educational environment.

Sustainable investment, affirming leading position

To achieve the above achievements, Ninh Binh education sector always focuses on discovering and selecting talented students, organizing intensive training classes; at the same time creating conditions for them to participate in many academic playgrounds at home and abroad.

An important highlight in the support policy is the subsidy of living expenses and scholarships for students of Specialized High Schools according to Resolution No. 07/2025/NQ-HDND. Specifically, students are supported from 1.6 to 2.4 million VND/month for living expenses and scholarships from 900 thousand to 1.3 million VND/month depending on the distance from home to school. This is a practical source of encouragement, especially for students in rural areas, helping them feel secure in pursuing their long-term studies.

At the same time, the education and training sector focuses on building a team of excellent teachers with scientific research capacity to directly guide students. Many teachers are sent to advanced training at pedagogical universities and participate in professional seminars at home and abroad. This group of teachers has become the "nucleus" that inspires and guides students on the path to conquering knowledge.

In addition to investing in teachers, Ninh Binh also pays special attention to expanding international cooperation, creating opportunities for students and teachers to access advanced educational methods. Inviting foreign experts and lecturers to exchange experiences, or sending students to participate in regional science summer camps, has contributed to broadening the vision and nurturing the desire for integration for the younger generation.

It can be seen that key education not only brings achievements to Ninh Binh but also contributes to providing high-quality human resources for the country. The results from excellent student competitions, scientific and technological research or the national valedictorians are clear evidence of the intellectual potential of the local young generation.

Speaking at the 2024-2025 school year summary conference, Ms. Ha Lan Anh - Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee - affirmed: "The 2025-2026 school year will be a pivotal year, laying the foundation for a new development period, starting to realize the province's educational development goals for the period 2025-2030. We need to continue to promote our strengths, affirm our position as a leading education provider, while improving comprehensive quality, preparing students for international integration."

With new momentum and clear strategic orientation from the beginning of the school year, Ninh Binh continues to affirm its position in the leading group of the country, gradually reaching out to the international arena, making practical contributions to the sustainable development of Vietnam's education.
