To encourage and share the difficulties with patients who have to stay in the hospital for treatment during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Dragon - 2024, this afternoon, February 9th, the leadership and functional departments of the Provincial General Hospital visited and presented gifts to all inpatients receiving treatment at the hospital.

285 gift packages were given to patients receiving treatment at Quang Tri Provincial General Hospital during the Tet holiday.

Accordingly, the leaders and doctors of the Provincial General Hospital visited each patient's room to check on their health, offer encouragement, and present 285 gifts, including cash and confectionery, with a total value of nearly 50 million VND to patients receiving inpatient treatment in the hospital's departments and wards.

Delighted to receive meaningful Tet gifts, patients and their families expressed their gratitude and thanked the leaders of the Provincial General Hospital for their timely encouragement and support, which helped alleviate some of the difficulties and disadvantages they faced while celebrating Tet at the hospital.

According to Dr. Phan Xuan Nam, Director of the Provincial General Hospital, this is an annual activity of the unit during the Lunar New Year season, demonstrating care and encouragement, both spiritually and materially, to help patients and their families alleviate homesickness while staying at the hospital during the traditional Tet holiday. It helps them gain more strength to focus on treatment, overcome the pain of illness, and return to their families as soon as possible.

During the long Tet holiday, the Provincial General Hospital arranged for sufficient doctors and nurses to be on duty to ensure that emergency care, treatment, and healthcare for the people proceeded smoothly, promptly, and effectively.

It is known that from January 11th to February 19th, 2024 (corresponding to the 1st to 30th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Rabbit), the Provincial General Hospital, in coordination with many benevolent individuals and organizations, donated over 10,000 free meals; 973 cash gifts totaling nearly 254 million VND, along with many meaningful programs and activities aimed at calling for and mobilizing the support of benevolent hearts to assist patients with difficult circumstances receiving treatment at the hospital.
