On the afternoon of June 4th, the Tho Xuan District Party Committee held a conference to implement the plan for the campaign to support the construction of houses for poor households, policy beneficiary households, and households still facing housing difficulties in the district during the two years of 2024-2025.

Overview of the conference.
In accordance with Directive 22, dated March 30, 2024, of the Provincial Party Committee, Tho Xuan district is implementing a plan to mobilize support for the construction of housing for poor households, policy beneficiary households, and households facing housing difficulties in the district over the two years of 2024-2025.
The campaign is divided into two phases: phase 1 from June to September 2024; and phase 2 from January 2025 to June 2025.
At the village/neighborhood level, the target group for fundraising includes families, clans, and relatives within the village/neighborhood, who contribute labor, materials, and funds for house construction. At the commune level, fundraising involves officials, civil servants, organizations, individuals, and households within the commune's jurisdiction; agencies, units, philanthropists, and hometown associations both within and outside the district. At the district level, fundraising involves officials, civil servants, employees of Party and government agencies, the Fatherland Front, political and social organizations, professional social organizations, and armed forces at the district level; agencies, organizations, public service units, and schools within the district; businesses, philanthropists, and hometown associations both within and outside the district.

Also at the conference, the district implemented a plan to review and assess policy-beneficiary households, poor households, and households still facing housing difficulties in the district. This included clearly defining the target groups, criteria, and principles for identifying priority groups; the review methodology; and the review process and timeline.

Speaking at the conference, Thọ Xuân District Party Secretary Lê Đình Hải affirmed: The campaign to support the construction of housing for poor households, policy beneficiary families, and households still facing housing difficulties demonstrates the consistent viewpoint of "leaving no one behind," helping these groups have stable housing and gradually improve their lives.
The District Party Secretary requested that the fundraising campaign be conducted seriously, transparently, objectively, and democratically, based on the principles of voluntariness and high consensus among supporters.
The District People's Committee, in coordination with the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, will guide communes and towns in developing plans for reviewing and assessing eligible households, poor households, and households facing housing difficulties. Communes and towns will conduct the review and assessment of eligible households, poor households, and households facing housing difficulties, ensuring that all conditions and criteria are met, absolutely no profiteering occurs, and no eligible individuals are overlooked.
Party Committee Secretaries and Chairmen of People's Committees of communes and towns are responsible for compiling lists of poor households, policy beneficiary households, and households still facing housing difficulties in their respective localities and units.
Based on the mobilized funds, the District Steering Committee will allocate resources and develop local mobilization plans and strategies to ensure effective implementation.
