The Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to the winning units at the Festival.

The festival is one of the important activities of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024). It is an opportunity for librarians nationwide to apply their skills in introducing books and disseminating materials about the historic Dien Bien Phu victory, the Party's leadership and the brilliant guidance of President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap, the glorious history of 80 years of building, fighting and maturing of the Vietnam People's Army, the heroic memories of former veterans, and a Dien Bien Phu that is constantly changing. Through this, it contributes to raising awareness, fostering a sense of responsibility, arousing national pride, love for the homeland, and the aspiration to contribute to building and developing a prosperous and happy country among all strata of the people, especially the younger generation.

For the library sector, the Festival is one of the activities aimed at strengthening, innovating, and applying information technology in propaganda work, bringing about strong effectiveness and widespread impact, contributing to encouraging reading and promoting the development of reading culture in the community.

With the participation of 42 teams and nearly 1,200 librarians, representing over 10,000 librarians from 63 provinces and cities, armed forces libraries, and university libraries nationwide, the competition concluded after four days of lively and emotionally charged events. The Organizing Committee awarded 6 Outstanding prizes, 12 First prizes, 12 Second prizes, 12 Third prizes, and other consolation prizes to the participating teams.

At the festival, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Library participated in four competitions: Team introduction; promotion and introduction of the book "Dien Bien Phu - Heroic Memories" by author Khanh Linh; introduction of an effective model for providing books, newspapers, and documents in developing reading culture and supporting lifelong learning in prisons in Thanh Hoa province. Particularly noteworthy was the talent competition, featuring a performance of drum and gong music combined with traditional dances and the song "Dien Bien - The Heroic Epic Resounds Forever," which was highly praised by the Organizing Committee and awarded first prize to the team.

After the festival concludes, the Organizing Committee will upload videos of the participating teams' entries to the YouTube channel "Vietnamese Books and Wisdom" for audience voting. Based on the voting results, the Organizing Committee will announce the award for the most popular entry and send the prize to the winning team in early September 2024.
