The year 2024 witnessed the comprehensive development of Agribank 's young generation in all aspects of work. The Agribank Youth Union was honored to receive the trust of the Party Committee and Agribank's leadership, being assigned many important tasks, and has worked together to successfully complete many assigned tasks. With 182 affiliated Youth Union branches (including 142 grassroots Youth Union branches and 40 affiliated sub-branches), nearly 15,000 members and young people throughout the system, the Agribank Youth Union model, equivalent to the district level and directly under the Central Enterprise Bloc Youth Union, is a pioneering, leading force and a reliable reserve force of the Party, contributing to the overall development of the entire Agribank system.
To ensure the effective and in-depth operation of the Youth Union and youth movement, closely linked with youth union members throughout the system, on December 26, 2023, the Standing Committee of the Agribank Party Committee established the Agribank Youth Union Agency. This agency advises and assists the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Youth Union in leading and directing the Youth Union's work and youth movement at Agribank. Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Agribank Youth Union issued over 500 documents and guidelines from the Central Youth Union, the Youth Union of the Central Business Bloc, and the Agribank Party Committee to affiliated Youth Union branches; and conducted inspections and supervision of 8 grassroots Youth Union branches and 74 sub-branches to improve the quality of Youth Union activities and youth movements at the grassroots level. The Youth Union successfully organized congresses for 100% of its affiliated sub-branches, ensuring timely completion and promptly consolidating the key Youth Union cadres of the entire sector.

The key highlight is the concretization of the Party's Resolutions on youth development work, such as Resolution 01-NQ/ĐU-NHNo, Resolution 09-NQ/ĐU-NHNo, Resolution 26-NQ/ĐU-NHNo, and Resolution 29-NQ/ĐU-NHNo, integrating specific activities linked to revolutionary action movements such as "Youth Volunteers," "Creative Youth," "Youth Vanguard in Defending the Fatherland," and Agribank's programs and campaigns such as "Agribank for the Community," "Agribank for a Green Future," "Agribank Better Every Day," "Giving Smiles," "Agribank Sports - Health for You - Strength for Us," and "Agribank Promoting Cashless Payments." "Agribank's Digital Transformation at Local Markets"... Aiming to integrate Youth Union activities with professional work, the Agribank Youth Union has launched numerous emulation movements such as "Youth Following Uncle Ho's Teachings," fostering a spirit of competition, learning, and emulating Ho Chi Minh's moral example. Many good, practical, and effective models have emerged and been put into use. Many exemplary individuals and outstanding achievements, such as "Talented Agribank Youth" and "Excellent Youth Union Secretary," have become the core and driving force behind the development of the emulation movement.
Many movements and activities have been strongly implemented by youth union branches, contributing to building and spreading the image of Agribank as a friendly, approachable, and civilized brand.
Recognizing that studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style is a regular and top priority task, the Agribank Youth Union has led and directed the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style in a serious, systematic, high-quality, and effective manner. In 2024, the Agribank Youth Union implemented many outstanding activities such as 100% of its members participating in the online competition to learn about Party building work in the system; and 100% of its members participating in the thematic study competition on Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style on the Vietnam Youth application. 27 outstanding works were selected to participate in the 4th Political Essay Writing Contest on Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation in 2024. Notably, the Agribank Youth Union was honored to receive a Collective Encouragement Award and one work won Third Prize nationwide in the 2nd Writing Contest on Party Building Work within the Agribank System.
Propaganda and education work has undergone a strong transformation with many creative methods, through numerous visual and vivid propaganda materials about the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and regulations, and the Party's and Youth Union's directives and resolutions on digital media channels such as: the Youth Union Member Management Software, Zalo, the Agribank Youth Fanpage, the Agribank Youth Newsletter,... contributing to the rapid and timely dissemination of information to all Youth Union members and cadres, thereby building a generation of young people with strong character, ambition, and a desire to contribute.
On the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the 36th anniversary of the founding of Agribank, the Agribank Youth Union organized a dialogue program between the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and youth union members, with over 1000 questions from 182 Youth Union branches.
The Agribank Youth Union Standing Committee has always paid close attention to and directed the work of participating in Party building, closely linking it with the performance of professional duties, creating motivation for each member to strive and contribute to the completion of the unit's business tasks. In 2024, the entire Youth Union had 3,373 members recognized as outstanding members, 863 members had the honor of joining the Party, and 407 members were officially transferred to the Party.
In the spirit of remembering our roots, activities and journeys to historical sites, paying tribute to fallen heroes, and candle-lighting ceremonies have become regular events, contributing to the education of revolutionary spirit and national traditions, fostering patriotism, and igniting national pride and gratitude towards previous generations in the younger generation. These activities not only demonstrate the responsibility of Agribank's youth in preserving and promoting revolutionary traditions but also contribute to educating the younger generation about revolutionary ideals.
Agribank's youth are actively involved in protecting the homeland and volunteering for the community.
2024 is a year of great significance for Vietnamese youth, and also a year that marks a strong impression of Agribank's youth with their pioneering spirit, creativity, and volunteerism. The journey of Agribank's youth is filled with beautiful stories of dedication, aspiration, and youthful energy contributing to nation-building and affirming the Agribank brand. The spirit of pioneering and volunteering for the community is an inherent quality of Vietnamese youth. Regardless of the historical period, the volunteer spirit of youth has always been the foundation for positive, responsible, and effective contributions. These are beautiful stories of dedication, aspiration, and youthful energy contributing to nation-building and affirming the Agribank brand. This is the youthful energy and enthusiasm of Agribank's Youth Union members throughout the system in 2024.
Adhering closely to the theme of "Year of Youth Volunteers," the Youth Union's work throughout the system has been implemented synchronously and comprehensively, yielding many positive results. This is not only demonstrated by Agribank's youth through meaningful movements, projects, and activities, but also clearly illustrated through pioneering movements to protect the Fatherland and contribute to community life.
A highlight of the year was the series of extensive charitable activities, demonstrating the spirit of mutual support and social responsibility of Agribank's youth in accompanying those affected by Typhoon Yagi. In September, the northern provinces experienced a historic storm and floods, causing serious damage to lives and property. Amidst the grief and loss, solidarity and mutual support were fostered and spread like an undercurrent, creating immense strength to help people in the disaster-stricken areas overcome all difficulties. Agribank's on-site volunteer youth teams quickly assisted people in cleaning up roads and houses, preventing disease outbreaks; repairing damaged equipment and machinery at offices and units; Participating in transporting food and supplies to support people in areas with difficult access... Trucks loaded with goods, carrying the heartfelt sentiments of tens of thousands of Agribank youth union members, worked day and night, crossing mountains and passes to reach the people in flood-affected areas.
Upholding the tradition of solidarity, mutual support, and compassion with the enthusiasm and pioneering spirit of youth, and promoting national solidarity and brotherhood, the Agribank Youth Union launched a fundraising campaign to support people in localities severely affected by storms, floods, and natural disasters. In just two weeks, the total amount raised after the campaign exceeded 2.6 billion VND. Based on the resources raised through this fundraising campaign, the Standing Committee of the Agribank Youth Union quickly contributed 100 million VND in response to the Central Youth Union's appeal, directly supporting 700 million VND for 7 provinces affected by the storm, and assisting 103 Agribank youth union members severely affected by the storm. In Lao Cai province, the Agribank Youth Union provided funding for the construction of two school kitchens and five houses for people in difficult circumstances. In Cao Bang province, the Agribank delegation provided funding for the construction of a pharmacy at the district health center, the construction of charitable houses, and support for the reconstruction of school kitchens and the purchase of kitchen equipment for students.
The Agribank Youth Union has effectively implemented the campaigns "For the sovereignty of the Fatherland, for the homeland's seas and islands," "Solidarity with border and island regions," and the "March Border Month" program. Through practical and concrete actions, the "For the homeland's seas and islands" journey has been carried out by Agribank through many meaningful activities such as donating two marine monitoring stations in Phu Yen province, donating the map "Proud of our homeland"; coordinating with the Central Youth Union to repair and upgrade the national flag pole at the Youth Volunteer Team's yard worth 300 million VND and implementing social welfare worth 50 million VND at Bach Long Vi Youth Island; donating a solar power project, a community sports training area, and a children's playground at Phu Quy Youth Island (Binh Thuan province).
These small but meaningful actions contribute to vividly portraying the beautiful image of Agribank's youth during the country's difficult times, while continuing to spread the values of compassion and sharing with the community throughout the system. Recognizing the contributions of the youth volunteer movement to the community, the Agribank Youth Union was honored by the Central Youth Union as one of the Top 10 outstanding collectives at the 2024 National Volunteer Award.
The pioneering mark of digital transformation from the "Youth Innovation" projects and initiatives of Agribank's youth.
The "Creative Youth" revolutionary movement has always been one of the strengths of the Agribank Youth Union. The combination of the "Year of Digital Transformation 2023" and the "Year of Youth Volunteerism 2024" has ignited the enthusiasm and pioneering spirit of volunteerism among Agribank's youth, spreading widely and attracting a large number of union members and young people to participate, creating positive results that clearly demonstrate the passion and creativity of the youth and the compatibility of the Youth Union's activities with the country's development trends.
From the early months of 2024, the Agribank Youth Union developed plans for a competition to find ideas on digital transformation, scientific initiatives, and applications in Agribank's business operations; and a program to promote the Youth Branch model. These two action ideas closely adhere to the policies of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors, and also provide opportunities for young people to contribute more effectively and practically to professional work, thereby identifying outstanding role models and further promoting the positive aspects of Agribank's youth nationwide.
The entire delegation registered over 1000 innovative projects and creative ideas, including 2 creative projects from the Agribank Youth Union that were recognized and commended by the Central Enterprise Bloc Youth Union for their application of information technology in production, business, and service activities, contributing to improving business productivity at Agribank.
The Youth Union's mark on digital transformation is vividly demonstrated through its Digital Technology Team model, "going door-to-door, guiding each person" to support customers with "biometric authentication," opening accounts, issuing payment cards, and installing and using the Agribank Plus e-banking application; strengthening information dissemination, propaganda, and guidance on cashless payments and safe banking service usage skills; and raising customer awareness of cybersecurity risks and online fraud. In 2024, Agribank Youth Union members across the system, along with all levels, helped thousands of customers escape high-tech fraud, protecting tens of billions of VND worth of assets in their accounts.
Programs such as “Agribank – Accompanying New Students”; “Supporting Students to School”, “Supporting Students During Exams”… have been promoted with many meaningful actions such as: career counseling and placement, support for youth entrepreneurship, training, and skill development for students seeking employment. Youth booths participating in the “One Commune One Product - OCOP” program and the “National Digital Transformation Day” have contributed to guiding and building a spirit of learning, dynamism, and enthusiasm; inspiring the desire to contribute and dedicate themselves among youth union members.

Agribank's youth have always been identified as the core force and driving force in cultural, artistic, and sports movements, as well as campaigns like "Agribank - For a Green Future" and "Agribank Better Every Day," which connect and spread the Agribank brand. The Youth Union has encouraged all its members to participate in internal competitions such as: the "Impressive Agribank" video clip creation contest in response to the "Cultural Week" celebrating Agribank's 36th anniversary; the "Talented and Elegant Agribank Staff" competition; and the English Olympic competition at the Central Business Bloc Youth Union level, where they won one third prize overall. In addition, they have developed a running movement and participated in annual running races, achieving many high awards; and established the AgriRun Club, connecting a large number of young people throughout the system to participate, making it a regular sports activity.
Contributing to the achievements of the Youth Union in 2024 were the attention and close guidance of the Central Enterprise Bloc Youth Union, the Party Committee, the Board of Members, and the Executive Board of Agribank; the active participation of Youth Union branches throughout the system, which organized many vibrant activities and emulation movements; the enthusiastic, responsible, and determined participation of tens of thousands of Agribank youth union members; and especially the trust and support of partner units, partners, and customers.
All 12/12 work targets for the year were met or exceeded.
The journey of effort and striving of Agribank's youth has created a strong source of inspiration and motivation, becoming a widespread movement in society, with a powerful impact on the community. 2024 marks a proud milestone for the Agribank Youth Union with many outstanding achievements in various fields, successfully completing and exceeding the targets set by the Bloc's Youth Union.
The Agribank Youth Union was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Central Youth Union; and a Banner of Emulation from the Youth Union of the Central Business Bloc for outstanding achievements in youth union work and youth movements in 2024. In addition, 4 grassroots Youth Union Secretaries received Certificates of Merit from the Central Youth Union; 18 affiliated Youth Union branches and 15 Youth Union officials received Certificates of Merit from the Youth Union of the Central Business Bloc.
Entering 2025 with the theme: "Agribank's youth proudly and confidently follow the Party, striving for Agribank's sustainable development goals," generations of Agribank's youth union members will strongly promote their pioneering, proactive, and innovative roles in their professional work, competing to undertake youth projects and tasks, striving to excellently complete all assigned tasks, contributing to building a positive image of Agribank's youth in the new era, and demonstrating the aspirations of Agribank's youth to excel.
