The unit is also coordinating to investigate and clarify the case of students eating strange candy that caused poisoning ," the leader of Lang Son Provincial Police added.

Previously, on the morning of November 30, information spread on social networking sites about candy packages sold in front of school gates in Lang Son City (Lang Son) causing poisoning to some students who ate them, suspected of containing drugs.

Specifically, this Facebook shared: "Hundreds of children's candy packages containing drugs were seized and sold right at the gate of an elementary school in Lang Son.

Lang Son police have just seized many colorful snack packages like the one in the photo. These packages were sold in front of primary and secondary school gates in Lang Son City for between 3,000 and 4,000 VND.

Rapid tests on all of these packages showed they were positive for drugs. The seller claimed he knew nothing about it.”
