According to Mr. Tien, the collection of entrance fees for visitors to the Sam Mountain National Tourist Area will be re-demarcated around 3 relics: Ba Chua Xu Temple of Sam Mountain, Tay An Pagoda and Thoai Ngoc Hau Tomb. The Management Board will arrange 3 ticket checking points. Point 1 at the beginning of the walking street in front of Tay An Pagoda; Point 2 at the end of the walking street in front of Vinh Te Communal House; Point 3 at the back entrance of Ba Chua Xu Temple of Sam Mountain on Chau Thi Te Street.
The ticket price is 20,000 VND/person/ticket; for children from 6 to 15 years old and people from 60 years old and above, the ticket price is 10,000 VND/person/ticket. It is expected that the new ticket control points mentioned above will be deployed by the end of October 2025.
Mr. Tien said that the implementation of the above-mentioned entrance fee collection plan has been surveyed and approved by the People's Committee of An Giang province. The advantage of this plan is that it collects enough, collects correctly, and is in accordance with legal regulations and the actual situation in the Sam Mountain National Tourist Area.

Mr. Truong Huu Tien, Director of the Management Board of the Sam Mountain National Tourist Area, said that the plan to arrange a new control and fee collection station will prohibit street vendors, incense vendors, and soliciting tourists.

The current toll collection points will be dismantled to allow vehicles to move smoothly into the tourist area. When this area is cordoned off, street vendors, incense vendors, etc. will be banned, gradually restoring security and order, building commercial civilization, preventing solicitation and forcing prices on tourists. The implementation of this plan will be a favorable basis for implementing the project of selling electronic tickets under the direction of the leaders of An Giang province.
Sam Mountain National Tourist Area has a total area of nearly 1,500 hectares, with a complex of cultural and historical relics and scenic spots such as: Sam Mountain, Ba Chua Xu Temple of Sam Mountain, Tay An Pagoda, Hang Pagoda, and Thoai Ngoc Hau Tomb.
Before 2013, the fee collection at Nui Sam tourist area was carried out by Nui Sam Ward People's Committee during the peak months of the Ba Chua Xu festival of Nui Sam. In August 2013, An Giang province (old) established the Management Board of the Sam Mountain Cultural, Historical and Tourism Relic Site under the Chau Doc City People's Committee (now the Management Board of the Sam Mountain National Tourist Area) and assigned the task of managing tourism service business activities, ensuring security, order, safety and collecting entrance fees. Since 2014, this Board has taken over the task of collecting entrance fees from Nui Sam Ward People's Committee until now.
Mr. Truong Huu Tien said that in 2025, the Management Board of the Sam Mountain National Tourist Area was assigned by the People's Committee of An Giang province to collect 45 billion VND. By the end of September, 29.8 billion VND had been collected. According to regulations, 50% of the collected fees are paid to the budget, the remaining 50% is used for the unit's operations and investment in upgrading tourist attractions in the Sam Mountain National Tourist Area.
