According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, currently (January 27), cold air has affected the Central Central provinces; the Gulf of Tonkin has strong northeast winds of level 8, gusting to level 9-10.

On land, on January 27, cold air continued to affect some places in the South Central region. Northeast wind inland was strong at level 3, coastal areas at level 4, with gusts of level 6-7 in some places.

In the North and North Central regions, it is very cold, in the mountainous areas of the North it is very cold, in the high mountains there is a possibility of frost and frost; in the Central Central region it is cold.

The lowest temperature in this cold air mass in the North and North Central regions is generally 9 - 12 degrees Celsius, in the mountainous areas of the North 6 - 8 degrees Celsius, in the high mountainous areas below 3 degrees Celsius; in the area from Quang Binh to Hue, it is generally 12 - 15 degrees Celsius; in the area from Da Nang to Quang Ngai, it is generally 16 - 18 degrees Celsius.

At sea, the Gulf of Tonkin has strong northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 8, rough seas, waves 2 - 4 m high. The North and Central East Sea (including the Hoang Sa archipelago) has strong northeast winds of level 7, gusting to level 8 - 9, rough seas, waves 3 - 5 m high. The sea from Quang Tri to Ca Mau and the South East Sea (including the Truong Sa archipelago) has strong northeast winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8 - 9, rough seas, waves 3 - 5 m high.
