Three social housing projects are expected to commence construction in the province.

The People's Committee of Dak Lak province has just approved the information for a social housing project in Binh Kien ward and is currently reviewing and approving the results of the investor selection for two other projects. These social housing projects are expected to commence construction in the fourth quarter of 2025 and the first quarter of 2026.

The Ha Huy Tap residential area project in Tan An ward (An Phu urban area) is currently being implemented with 330 social housing units.

The social housing project in Phuoc Hau neighborhood, Binh Kien ward, has a land area of ​​19,743 ^m² , of which the construction area is 9,872 ^m² . The housing type is apartment buildings with 7 above-ground floors and a basement; the total investment is 783 billion VND. The number of social housing units is approximately 690 (specifically determined in the project design phase by the investor and complying with the National Technical Standard for Apartment Buildings and other relevant legal regulations). Each apartment has an area ranging from 35 ^m² to 70 ^m² ; the estimated population is approximately 2,515 people.

In addition, the Department of Construction has appraised and proposed to the Provincial People's Committee to assign investors to implement two other social housing projects. Specifically, the Social Housing Project North of Tran Phu Street, Tuy Hoa Ward, with 480 social housing units; and the An Phu Social Housing Project, Binh Kien Ward, with 2,270 social housing units. Both projects are expected to commence construction in the fourth quarter of 2025 once the investor selection results are available.

Currently, there are 4 social housing projects under construction in the province, comprising 1,348 units. Typical examples include the Ha Huy Tap Residential Area Project in Tan An Ward (An Phu Urban Area, including 330 social housing units), with 65 units completed and handed over, and 265 units under construction; and the Km7 Residential Urban Area Project in Tan An Ward (Ecocity Urban Area, including 797 social housing units), which is under construction and expected to be completed in 2025.

Social housing projects are being implemented to fulfill the plan to invest in and build at least 1 million social housing units for low-income earners and industrial zone workers in the province during the period 2021-2030, contributing to the achievement of the social housing target assigned by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 444/QD-TTg dated February 27, 2025.
