Expected to start construction of 3 social housing projects in the province

The People's Committee of Dak Lak province has just issued a decision approving information on the social housing project in Binh Kien ward and is appraising and approving the results of selecting investors for two other projects. These social housing projects are expected to start construction in the fourth quarter of 2025 and the first quarter of 2026.

Ha Huy Tap Residential Area Project, Tan An Ward (An Phu Urban Area) is being implemented with 330 social housing units.

The social housing project in Phuoc Hau quarter, Binh Kien ward has a land use scale of 19,743 ^m2 , of which the construction land area is 9,872 ^m2 . The housing type is an apartment building with a height of 7 floors above ground and a basement; the total investment is 783 billion VND. The number of social housing units is about 690 units (specifically determined in the project design dossier preparation step of the investor and in compliance with the National Technical Regulations on apartment buildings and other relevant legal regulations). The area of ​​each apartment is from 35 ^m2 - 70 ^m2 ; the population size is about 2,515 people.

In addition, the Department of Construction has appraised and proposed the Provincial People's Committee to assign investors to implement two other social housing projects. Specifically, the Social Housing Project North of Tran Phu Street, Tuy Hoa Ward with 480 social housing units; An Phu Social Housing Project, Binh Kien Ward with 2,270 social housing units. Both of these projects, when the results of investor selection are available, are expected to start construction in the fourth quarter of 2025.

There are currently 4 social housing projects under construction in the province with 1,348 houses. Typically, the Ha Huy Tap Residential Area Project, Tan An Ward (An Phu Urban Area includes 330 social houses) has completed 65 houses for handover, and is under construction for 265 houses; the Km7 Residential Urban Area Project, Tan An Ward (Ecocity Urban Area includes 797 social houses) is under construction, expected to be completed in 2025.

Social housing projects are deployed to implement the Project to invest in building at least 1 million social housing units for low-income people and industrial park workers in the period of 2021 - 2030 in the province, contributing to completing the social housing target assigned by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 444/QD-TTg dated February 27, 2025.
