Nearly 500 million VND was spent on organizing the "Accompanying Women in Border Areas" program.

Today, August 26th, at the Ba Tang Border Guard Station in Huong Hoa district, the Ho Chi Minh City Women Entrepreneurs Association, the Quang Tri Provincial Women's Union, and the Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard Command, in coordination with the local authorities, organized the "Accompanying Women in Border Areas" program for 2024.

At the event, the organizers presented community projects and livelihood models to disadvantaged families in Ba Tang commune, including: 14 livelihood models (goats, cows, pigs); 1 community water well; 15 septic toilets; 100 gift packages for members and women in particularly difficult circumstances, and 50 gift packages for disadvantaged students.

On this occasion, the coordinating units visited and presented gifts to the officers and soldiers of the Ba Tang Border Guard Post. The program's funding, nearly 500 million VND, was raised through connections and mobilization by the Ho Chi Minh City Women Entrepreneurs Association from officials and members of various agencies and units.

The "Accompanying Women in Border Areas" program, launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, aims to promote the spirit of mutual support and mobilize social resources to care for disadvantaged women's union members' families in border communes, including Quang Tri province.
