Provincial Red Cross Association cooperates to give gifts to students in especially difficult circumstances

On August 30, the Ninh Binh Provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with the Youth Union of Vietnam News Agency, Thien Nhan Fund and Friends to organize a gift giving event for orphaned students in difficult circumstances in the province.

Accordingly, the Provincial Red Cross Society and the Youth Union of Vietnam News Agency presented 10 gifts; Thien Nhan Fund and Friends awarded scholarships to support regular living expenses of 6 million VND/year to 5 orphaned students in difficult circumstances in the province every year and until they turn 18 years old.

It is known that the activities of the Thien Nhan and Friends Fund have been carried out since December 2017, with the support of children in especially difficult circumstances, examination and genital reconstruction surgery for children in the Thien Nhan and Friends Program.

The Fund mobilizes funds from individuals, organizations, and supporting units and is used to support children in especially difficult circumstances to ensure basic living,education , and health expenses in accordance with State regulations. In addition to supporting living expenses of 6 million VND per year, the Program will annually support the costs of studying and health for the children until they turn 18 years old.
