The patient was admitted to the hospital with a tear in the left inner corner of the eye, a ruptured superior lacrimal duct, a complex tear in the eyelid skin, and a crushed eyelid tissue, including the tarsal cartilage, a severe injury that could seriously affect visual function and eye aesthetics.

Immediately after admission, the doctors urgently performed surgery to reconnect the lacrimal canal, restore the eye angle and regenerate the eyelid tissue. After 2 days of surgery, the patient's vision, eyelid lifting function and aesthetic shape of the eye area were preserved.
MSc. Dr. Le Thi Yen, the surgeon who directly performed the surgery, said: Eye injuries at work are very dangerous and can cause serious damage such as corneal scratches, intraocular bleeding, retinal detachment, optic nerve damage, and even permanent vision loss or blindness. The doctor recommends that workers strictly follow safety procedures and use protective eyewear to minimize the risk of accidents.
