At 4:20 p.m. this afternoon, October 20, Scoot Airlines flight TR314 departing from Changi International Airport (Singapore) landed safely at Da Nang International Airport. This first flight carried 174 passengers, marking the official opening of Scoot Airlines' direct flight route from Singapore to Da Nang.
According to the plan, the airline will operate 3 flights/week on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, using Airbus A320 aircraft (180 - 186 seats) and is expected to increase to 7 flights/week from January 2026.

Many tourists expressed excitement and emotion at the warm, friendly and hospitable welcome of Da Nang City.
Mr. Tan Van Vuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City, said that with its close geographical location, convenient air connections and cultural similarities in the ASEAN region, the number of tourists from Singapore to Da Nang is recording a steady growth trend.

"The expansion of direct flights between Singapore and Da Nang with the participation of three airlines: Singapore Airlines, Vietjet Air, and Scoot Airlines has increased the total flight frequency from Singapore to Da Nang to 24 flights/week, contributing to increasing tourist exchange and expanding opportunities for cooperation in tourism development in the coming time," said Mr. Vuong.
In Vietnam, Scoot Airlines is operating direct flights from Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City (7-14 flights/week), Hanoi (5 flights/week), Phu Quoc (6 flights/week) and Cam Ranh (expected to operate from November 2025, 2 flights/week).
