Accordingly, 72 candidates have been approved for this recruitment round. The Department of Home Affairs is urgently completing the procedures for announcing the results and issuing decisions on recruiting civil servants according to regulations. The successful candidates are expected to be assigned to work in 20 communes and wards in the former Tay Ninh province, taking on many different professional positions such as internal affairs, labor, planning, environment, agriculture , finance, accounting, etc.
According to Mr. Pham Xuan Bach, Director of Tay Ninh Department of Home Affairs, the cases approved for recruitment list are candidates who passed the commune-level civil service exam conducted by the district-level People's Committee before but have not been issued a decision due to the policy of temporarily suspending recruitment according to Conclusion 128-KL/TW dated March 7, 2025 of the Politburo. After receiving the guidance document from the Ministry of Home Affairs , Tay Ninh province has reviewed the standards, conditions, job positions and the actual number of civil servants compared to the payroll quota. In cases where the conditions are met and there are still payroll quotas, the recruitment needs at the commune level (new) will be considered to continue recruiting.
Through screening, a total of 89 candidates passed the 2024 commune-level civil service exam conducted by 5 district-level units and a decision was made to recognize the results. The Department of Home Affairs requested the candidates to complete their applications. As a result, 82/89 candidates completed the application (including 1 case of passing 2 positions). Through screening the recruitment needs of communes and wards, the province identified 20 communes and wards with suitable staffing and job positions to immediately receive and arrange for 72 candidates.
For the remaining 9 cases that have not been arranged because the candidates have not agreed with the locality with suitable staff and positions, the Department of Home Affairs will continue to coordinate to review, report and propose to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to arrange in the second phase if the communes and wards still have demand.
According to the Tay Ninh Department of Home Affairs, after reviewing, the staff and civil servants at the People's Committees at the commune level in the province currently has over 3,700 people, still lacking over 2,000 positions compared to the total assigned target. Urgently accepting qualified people to work as civil servants is a timely solution to supplement human resources with capacity and qualifications, immediately meeting the work needs of the specialized departments and units under the People's Committees at the commune level. At the same time, the Department of Home Affairs is guiding the development of a list of temporary job positions for specialized departments under the People's Committees at the commune level.
